Virginia County Cottage

This is a very cozy,quiet, beautiful property. If we return to area we will definitely book this place again.

This is one of the nicest VRBO experiences we have ever had--felt right at home in this gorgeous cottage and expansive family estate setting. We keep our pups on a leash, but they were kindly greeted by the owner's little dog (w/ a bright pink tail) and we LOVED staying here. We will be back as often as possible. Thank you!

We enjoyed spending a weekend tucked away from civilization in a cozy cottage on what felt like a sprawling estate. We saw other people as well as dogs & ducks on the property, but no one disturbed our peace. Thank you for offering a comfortable home with a step-free entrance that worked well for my husband, who is a wheelchair user. There were a couple of minor housekeeping oversights, but we were very pleased overall & would definitely stay again.

Needed a place to just spend one night. Will go back when have longer to stay. Very nice, clean property. Communication with property owner was great!

We are visiting family in the area and spending most of the day with them but wanted a quiet place to retreat to in the evening. The location, amenities, communication with owner, and comfort of this Cottage makes it perfect for our needs. We have stayed a few times previously, and plan to stay again. We are grateful to the owner for such welcoming hospitality.

Came into town to celebrate my ailing brother's birthday. The cottage was perfect for my husband and two fur babies. The fire pit and fireplace added a nice touch as did the walk in shower and the BD was so comfortable. Cathy was a most gracious host and we will definitely be back.

This is our go to rental whenever we are in town. It's private and quiet. The owners are always quick to respond if we need anything and the house just the right price and size.

Private home on owners beautiful and serene property. Includes a private fire pit and gas grill in the back. I hated not being able to stay longer but I only needed a place to stay one night that permitted a dog. The hosts could not have been kinder or more accommodating.

Tranquility in the countryside but close to town. Would not hestitate to rent again : )

Simply amazing. The hosts, Cathy and Mike, are amazing people! The property is located on a great piece of land, giving you the feeling of freedom while being close enough to shop for necessities. Very clean, very comfortable, great amenities. The home has everything you need, toaster, full kitchen of utensils, pots, pans, Keurig coffee maker, full size refrigerator, washer, and dryer. The size was perfect for my son and I to stay for a month as we prepared to move to Virginia.

Very impressed with all aspects of this stay. Great communication before, during and as we checked out. Beautiful property and honored to stay in a Cottage that had such a significant history, and memories for the host family.

The property is beautiful, I was there for business but diffently will be coming back for vacation. Cathy (host) was very responsive when I had any questions. She made sure i was conformable and was very welcoming when I checked in.
