VillasFerrel - FlowerPot Chalet - with large courtyard and living area

Both the house and they communication with the owner were great.

Very spacious and charming accomodation in a real and lively small town. Accomodation was not gligzy, but comfortable and tranquil.. Spacious patio would have been great if we had got more sunshine. Plenty of unpretentious great-value cafes nearby, some with own delicious pastries and fresh bread. Local 4-day festival was a bonus. Only 15 mins walk to amazing surf and beaches in picturesque Baleal. One hour drive to Lisbon. Great spot!

Filipe was responsive to all our inquiries. The house located in a lovely village, and has all the utilities. We could have easily stayed another week.

The house has a lot of space inside and outside, and we felt very much at home. The owners are very nice, discreet and obliging, reacting promptly to questions (e.g. via sms, WhatsApp). The house is located in a calm area of the small village, where you can find small supermarkets and nice restaurants within walking-distance. It´s also close to two nice and sandy beaches (5 minutes by car), where you can book surfing classes, or just relax, swim or take walks. Also very interesting with lots of sites to visit are the surroundings, and of course Lisbon (about 1 hr to go by car). The patio provides a lot of privacy to sunbathe, barbecue etc. and makes you feel at ease with its flowers and trees to look on. The kitchen is well equipped, there are two showers, and three bathrooms. If we come back to this area of Portugal, we will certainly choose this house again. Thanks for everything, family Santos!

Our stay in Luis House was very nice. It is a big house with a plenty of space. The furniture and everything else was in a good state. We had everything we wanted and needed. The house is at a quite place but very close to a supermarket and nice restaurants. Some of the restaurants are very good and recommended by locals and the internet. Don't forget to book a table :). We enjoyed our stay a lot. There are 2 floors in the house. 3 bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and bathtube/shower plus 2 nice rooms with furniture. The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms and a toilet plus the living room and the kitchen. Another toilet with shower is outside next to the kitchen in the backyard. The house has a very nice backyard with trees plus an additional big room with bicycles and tables. There is enough space to have a big car in the backyard plus sun beds and a table to sit on for breakfast. Ferrel is very close to the Baleal and Lagide beaches where a lot of surf shops, surf schools, bars and more to discover can be found. Luis and his family were very nice to us every time we saw them. He welcomed us very good and showed us the neighborhood. I would definitively recommend this house. Five stars.

The owners are friendly & helpfull, but there is no privacy: they live next door and walk in and out of the common court yard. The only bathroom with a shower is in that same court yard (outside!), so be fast to shower or get caught wearing a towel by the owners... there is no lack of kitchen utensils. perfect for groups. no so much for private families.

Wonderful house, homely, fully equiped, clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. In a very quiet village close to the beach. Great area for exploring the coast and countryside. Very easy to get find the house with clear directions from the owner.

The owners are very friendly and helpfull and gave us good touristic advise of the area. The house was clean and fully equipped and it had a lot of space. Although close to the centre of the village, it was very quiet and ideal to get away from the busy city life. The little shops provided us with al we needed and were just a few minutes away. The restaurant in the village was disappointing but fortunately the owners could point us to a good restaurant with very good value in the neighbouring village. The beautifull sand beach was in walking distance. We had a wonderfull holiday and it is defenitely worth wile to come back to this place.
