Stayed Nov 22, 2024Havelock North is the place to stay when visiting Hawke’s Bay, and The Village Apartment is the place to stay in Havelock North. Ideal location within easy 5-10 minute walk to shops, pubs, restaurants and grocer. Fabulous spot, great hosts. We highly recommend it.

Stayed Oct 24, 2024We had 4 nights in this apartment and it was wonderful!! Very comfortable and clean, well laid out and with everything you need to be self sufficient. Location was perfect for walking to town for a meal or some shopping and no need to worry about driving. Rex was a fabulous host, super friendly and informative and available if we needed anything. The property is a little sanctuary in town and we will be back ?

Stayed Jan 19, 2023We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary in Havelock North. Our accommodation was perfect. The flat was clean, modern and well located within a short walking distance to the village. The owners were away but a relative personally greeted us the day we arrived and communication with the owner was good. Would love to stay here again some day.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My partner and I were travelling to Havelock North for a music festival - this place has all the things you could wish for! Convenient location, amazing hosts and a clean, self-contained suite that is just perfect! Highly recommended stay :)

Stayed Dec 24, 2020Rex & Karen are lovely hosts. The apartment is very well set up, with a nice lounge and dining area, and a full kitchen including electric oven, gas cooktop, good sized fridge, a dishwasher and plenty of storage spaces. A separate bedroom with a nice comfortable bed, and full sized wardrobe. Separate ensuite with toiletries provided, as well as plenty of towels, and great shower pressure. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. Apartment was immaculate, and located at ground level under main house, with no noise from above. Parking is off the road and in shade. Supermarket is 2 mins walk away, as are a number of cafes and shops. We spent 4 nights there over Xmas and it was ideal.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Apartment had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. Rex and Karen were gracious hosts . Walking distance to central town, grocery and other shopping. Covered parking and available pool. Would highly recommend.
