Very well-appointed, compact little cottage - with delicious marmalade & toast for breakfast! Appreciated the privacy blinds, as it is sited fairly close to neighbours, but very quiet & peaceful. Easy parking and good location.

This is a very well designed cottage that is very comfortable. It is nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was good and enjoyable on the deck overlooking the garden of the yard. The cottage is close to the main residence but very private. The hosts were excellent, checking to ensure we had everything and knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this property for a stay in this area. We had a car and the area was very easy to get around.

This is an adorable cottage to stay in with wonderful surroundings and hosts, really tranquil, if felt like we were staying in the country not an urban street.Super clean and well fitted out and equipped.I would highly recommend Fig Cottage as a great place to stay and look forward to my next stay, this will be my first choice in the Havelock North area.My only regret is not staying longer.....

I would recommend this accommodation to all our friends. Excellent communication from the hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the garden and Christiana sent us home with some tomato plants.

We spent 4 nights at Fig Cottage. The location was perfect, being on the same plot of land as the host's home, down a no-exit street so very quiet. It's just a few minutes drive from the centre of Havelock North. The property was extremely clean with fresh flowers and chocolates waiting for us. Breakfast was really good - cereal, yoghurt and cheesy muffins, with plunger coffee and tea.Christiana is an amazing host, promptly replenishing any supplies we needed. Communication was via text to her mobile, so very easy. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property.

Fig cottage is such an appropriate name. You are living in a delightful cottage on the edge of their garden which is just full of an array of plants. Location was close to everything with our car. The addition of homemade jam and fresh fruit made a wonderful addition to our simple breakfasts.The cottage has everything you could possibly want and a lovely porch to sit on at the end of the day.

Lovely, clean, modern, well located cottage set in an absolutely gorgeous cottage garden. Friendly, unobtrusive hosts make the stay very enjoyable. A very small glitch with the check in time was speedily remedied. Highly recommended. Locaeverythnecessary in

well positioned ,fresh clean and cozy

My sister and I stayed at Fig Cottage for a weekend up in Havelock North, it was a great location with easy access to the town. The cottage was very well set up with many breakfast options. Both beds were ready for us on our arrival. We enjoyed playing some of the games and the visits from Lexi the dog, as well as the cute surprise of apricots and raspberries in the morning. The garden was a beautiful setting. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property for a couple, well appointed one bedroomed unit. Lovely shower, bathroom and amenities spotless. Welcome flowers and breakfast foods much appreciated. Also having dishes washed and replaced, and milk provided, was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Great property walking distance (30 minutes) from Havelock North township. Property was clean, extremely comfortable, nestled in a pretty garden area. It was a perfect location for our seven day stay to visit family and visit local attractions such as Napier, Te Mata range and local restaurants and wineries.

Christiana was a fabulous host, kindly allowing us to check in early as we needed to get to a function, and leaving a light on for our late return. The breakfast was delicious and I hope to visit again in summer to see the lovely garden in full bloom.
