Villa Provence 14 people swimming pool air conditioning

This is a great house, owned by good people but they have next to no idea on presenting a house for holiday rental. No idea really. This is a 5 bedroom house, there were 3 of us. The house design is great, almost flawless but the interior fit-out especially across the bedrooms befits a 2 star bedsit. Bath towels of all different colours, small and old that wouldn't make it around your waste, and upon requesting towels for the pool we were told you have to pay. The master bedroom has a cheap foam mattress and was fitted with a fitted sheet that had plastic on the downside as if children were staying and wetting the bed. The mattress is so bad that if you came with 20cms of the edge you begin to roll off. The remaining beds, ( in king sized rooms ) are double, now which couple wants to go on a holiday and stay in a double bed. The kitchen is well equipped and with a great aspect. There is no real bluetooth speaker for playing music except for the TV. The internet connection is good. The main living area echoed because there was nothing on the walls, was terrible. There is in the pool area a large umbrella which is needed, it kept on falling over, there was sewerage smell at night which made sitting outdoors repugnant, the BBQ was old and dirty and probably replaced a new one that the owners had at their own home. The only design flaw is the light coming from the master bathroom with no way of resolving it. Sadly we left a day early, even though we stayed 12 nights and payed 12x the nightly rate, no mid-stay clean was offered. When we approached the owners of the issues post-stay they became all defensive. Lorgues village is some 4 kilometres away is beautiful, extra-large markets on Tuesday are great and the architecture is great for photographers. Sad though that the owners dont get it..
