Stayed Aug 7, 2023Seventeen of our family, ages 4 to 72, stayed in this wonderful villa for a week. During the hot weather this August, the pool was a lifesaver for the kids and their parents. The accommodation well suited our five family units. Each had their space with enough common space to facilitate interaction. Our host Mattia was great, providing help and information whenever needed. One of our great decisions was enlisting Alessandra to cook two amazing meals for us during the week. We also enlisted her to provide cooking lessons in which 15 of us participated. Well organized and something for all, ranging from the four-year-old to the grandma. The only thing to attend to is transportation. We hired a bus that picked us up from Rome and, on another day, took us to Assisi. In between, we made do with two rental cars. One other would have been ideal. Some of our group walked into Spoleto regularly but it is a hike. We certainly rate this week as the highlight of our trip and would not hesitate to recommend it. We hope to find a reason to return.
