The Space
This beautiful, modern executive resort style home with private pool and spa sleeps six with two master king suites in beautiful accommodations and a bunkbed room. This home has extensive views and is a top-of-the-line vacation experience.

Conveniently located near great shops and restaurants, the airport and the city of Palm Springs and yet very quiet and exclusive. Close to a grocery store, Starbucks and CVS with a Golf Course, Gym ($10 a day fee), and free Tennis & Pickle ball Courts, all available to our guests.

This is a one-of-a-kind resort property that you won't want to leave. The home is completely stocked with everything you need including wireless internet, Expanded Cable, Smart TV, coffee, condiments and more.

Nightly rental price is for up to six guests.

Reservation is restricted to the same name(s) & number of guests disclosed at time of booking.

No outdoor music shall be used outside at any time. Music played from the inside of the home shall not be heard beyond the property line at all times. Use of outdoor amenities/activities that create noise is prohibited from 10 PM to 8 AM.

Occupants shall respect the neighbors’ privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property.

Taxes
12% for Cathedral City plus 1% for Greater Palm Springs Tourism Business Improvement District (GPSTBID).

Guest access
Home is accessed via digital keypad lock. Access code is sent day of check-in.
Guests have access to the entire house including the garage. A code to the digital lock will be sent the day of check-in. There are no steps at any access point to the property or house. In addition, guests have access to the Desert Princess resort with 27 holes of golf, tennis, pickleball, bocce courts and gym. Resort recreational fees apply where applicable. There is a community clubhouse restaurant and bar. A Doubletree Hotel is also on the property with its own restaurant and bar.


Other things to note:
Pool and Spa heating are extra if requested. Daily Pool/Spa Heating $75.00USD/day October to May, $45.00USD/date June to September. Pool up to 88 degrees, Spa up to 102 degrees.

A per day deposit for pool/spa heat is collected after the home is reserved (about a month before your check in). Ask owner for more details.


Very Strict No-Smoking Policy: No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere in the house or on the property or the neighboring area. Reported violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of this rental with no refund and a loss of your damage deposit.

There is parking for one car in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway. A maximum of 3 cars are permitted. Additional parking on the street in front of the house.


Villa Estrella House Rules

1. You must be 25 years or older to rent the villa. No exceptions.

2. Maximum 3-bedrooom occupancy per city code is six overnight guests. All overnight guests must be registered with the owner per city rules.

3. No parties and/or events are allowed (to ensure community harmony).

4. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property—meaning indoors, outside by the spa or on the front walkway or driveway within 25-feet of the villa—is permitted. No illegal substances are allowed on premises. Your cooperation and consideration are expected and appreciated by the neighbors, the owner, and all future guests.


5. Windows and doors must remain closed at all times when the AC or the heat is operating in the villa.

6. There is parking for one car in the garage and two additional cars in the driveway or on the street in front of the home. A maximum of three overnight vehicles is allowed. At no time will any vehicle block a driveway, fire hydrant, or entrance/exit to any parking area.

7. The golf course is just that—a golf course—not a green space. Do not walk, run, ride a bicycle or push a stroller on it, use skateboards and skates on the cart paths, or use it as a playground or dog park. Our area is known as The Arroyos (intersection of West Natoma/Lakota Court) and has a lovely walking path for people and pets—no motorized vehicles are permitted.

8. Community quiet hours per City code are 10PM to 8AM daily. Noise violations can result in fines from $1000 to $5000 each from both the City and the Homeowners’ Association.
PER CITY CODE: No outdoor music, radios, musical instruments, or other devices that produce or reproduce sound are allowed to be used outdoors or be audible from inside the property between the hours of 10 PM to 8 AM.
This rule is strictly enforced, and your neighbors have a Short-Term -Rental hotline number to call if they are being disturbed by loud music, voices etc. as outlined above, after hours.

9. By reserving and booking this property you are agreeing that you understand and will observe the House Rules as outlined.




ENJOY AND RELAX IN OUR BEAUTIFUL POOL & SPA “POOL RULES”

• This is a PRIVATE POOL and SPA.
• There is no lifeguard on duty. Use the pool and spa at your own risk.
• Do not leave children in or near the pool and/or spa unattended. Children must be supervised at/in the pool/spa at all times by an adult.
• Do not enter the pool or spa under the influence of meds or alcohol.
• TIP: Use the bathroom before going into the pool or spa.
• No glass in the pool or spa area. There are plastic cups, glasses and plates in the villa for outside use.
• Drink water to stay hydrated. The low desert sun, especially in the summer can be devastating without warning.
• Wear flip flops or shoes outside because the desert sun heats the concrete to very hot temperatures.
• No loud music or raised voices etc.; remember you are in a residential community with a golf course. This is a quiet community, and quiet hours and noise rules are in effect.
• No wet feet in the villa…the tile gets slippery; towel off completely and wipe and dry your feet before entering the house.
• No wet bathing suits permitted in the house or on any of the furniture.

PLEASE NOTE…Outdoor surfaces heat up and become very hot very quickly in the desert sun. Please be mindful of bare feet on hot concrete and hot-to-the touch outdoor surfaces like plastics, metal or glass.

    We have rented many excellent VRBO homes, but Villa Estrella the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. The patio and back yard furniture is lovely & very comfortable, and the landscaping is perfectly groomed and absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect setting for a rendezvous with old friends. David, the host, has prepared a 3-inch black binder with information and explanations about nearly everything in the house. It was so helpful! He and the manager, Gail, were thoughtful, kind, and welcoming. All of the above made this a perfect experience. Thank you, David!

    Our stay was absolutely exceptional. The home was beautifully designed, impeccably decorated, thoughtfully appointed & spotless. Every detail made our visit perfect & memorable. The welcome package was exquisite, what a lovely surprise to find waiting upon our check in. The wine, snacks & goodies were so thoughtful. The location is perfect & the host went above & beyond. Truly the best Vrbo stay & I highly recommend to anyone looking for a five-star get away.

    This is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The pool was lovely; the bed very comfortable. The shower was soothing and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed early morning coffee from the Nespresso by the pool. The many walking paths throughout the community are beautifully landscaped. The hosts were warm and thoughtful and genuinely focused on providing a pleasant experience. The property manager was responsive, yet unobtrusive. We will definitely return.
