Villa Dordogne between Souillac and Sarlat Heated swimming pool/air conditioning

We were a group of two families (3 couples and a single) with 2 dogs. Property has lots of space for all to be together or in own areas. Good kitchen facilities (important to us) and lovely peaceful location with good walks on doorstop for our energetic dogs. Amal and Rashid prepared a wonderful celebration feast to help us celebrate our daughter's engagement and they worked with us brilliantly on details (menu preferences, gateau for happy couple etc) They are aware of need to carry out a few fixes on fencing, gates and doors, which do not close as they should and we know they are having works done at end of season. Our very inquisitive young dog did get out on a few occasions, but fortunately location is not near busy road. Most family dogs would be fine. Rashid lives quite close and responded very promptly to all requests. We had a great holiday and would recommend Villa Tamaris to families and small groups.

The house was beautiful and unique, the location stunning and the hosts very attentative, friendly and welcoming. A perfect stay for me and my friends! Would definately recommend.

We have just returned from a week's stay at Marzouks family villa. The villa, its gardens and swimming pool were fantastic and all well looked after. Facilities were great too, kitchen was equipped really well. Marzouk was a great host. He was always available if needed yet gave us space and privacy to enjoy our family holiday. We were a group of five adults and 5 children. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds and playing in the pool. We would recommend this villa to anyone looking for the ideal Southern France holiday. Thank you Rashid and family for making us feel so welcomed.

Great location allowed us to visit Domme, Martel, Rocamadour and Sarlat. We had a lovely stay at Villa Tamaris and a very relaxing week. Rashid was very welcoming, and you can see the effort and attention to detail that he has made building and furnishing this beautiful property. It has lots of lovely little touches, lots of room, a brilliant pool area, etc. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We were two large families and spent two weeks in September at Villa Tamaris. The property is beautiful and very well decorated. Nothing is missing, we enjoyed the pool and the garden. Beautiful place with its outdoor kitchen and barbecue. The villa is very well situated with Sarlat, Rocamadour, eysies, montignac and the beautiful golf of Souillac. Arrival date actually 28/5/16 calendar won't allow that entry.......the property is to die for we had organised a family holiday with people arriving from Spain and England , this is an ideal location to meet. The owner exceeds all expectations ensuring our stay was everything we hoped for, even when the storms came he would always make sure all was ok. The house itself is well equipped both inside and out the kids loved the pool and the freedom of the location which is both safe and secure. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and need look forward to returning

Marzouk's home is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The house is very big with plenty of rooms for a large group. It situated in a small (very small…) village close to great scenery and tourists attractions. It has a large garden, swimming pool and many comfortable places to have a barbeque, party or just to sit and enjoy reading a book. The pictures reflect perfectly the house and the surrounding. A large part of renting an HomeAway house for a vacation is the involvement of the host. Marzouk is a perfect host. He was just delightful and interesting to talk with. He made us fell at home and took care of all our needs including fire woods, extra everything, recommendations for restaurants, travel suggestions and more. He made himself available but kept a discreet distance. He gave us the impression that he want us to have a pleasant and memorable vacation. This was the best HomeAway experience we've had. Overall, we had a delightful experience at the house. Definitely highly recommended. Marzouk took upon himself to share with us his knowledge of the area, the history, the local ways of life etc. After a few days we have felt that we have a true friend. His English was very good (as oppose to many French people). We have met his family when he invite us to eat out with some friends. I definite feel that his involvement made our vacation a great success.
