Villa by Praia Grande

This home is stunning. Rita and her family welcomed us and showed us around, which was very helpful and immediately helped us feel at ease and at home. Four adults and one child were in our group and we all had plenty of space. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare our own meals, even a dishwasher. We were able to do our laundry before traveling again, which was great. We used the pool literally every day of our stay. The outdoor space was like The Secret Garden. It was hard to want to leave because the space was just so magical, but Praia Grande was walking distance away with great waves and a huge sandy beach, and Azenhas do Mar was only a 5 minute drive and our go to place to have a drink and watch the sun set. There’s also a grocery store just five minutes down the road with everything you could need from cleaning supplies to octopus. The TV had Netflix and Disney Jr., so something for everyone. The AC works great and is room specific, so if that’s a filter on your search like it was for us, know that this place will be a perfect temperature for you! We would love to stay here again.

This is a wonderful house that has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary items for cooking, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. The large living room is perfect for spending evenings with friends and family—there’s plenty of space for everyone. The pool and beautifully maintained garden are a special delight, offering the perfect place to relax outdoors. We had a lovely stay in Rita's beautiful house. We stayed eight nights between 9th - 17th August. There were eight of us for part of our stay, 5 adults and 3 kids. There was enough room for everybody. Shared spaces like living/dining room, hall, corridors & kitchen are great sizes. Four bedrooms have double beds in them. Fifth bedroom has a single. There is also a foldout sofa on the landing. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was at the front of the property. The outdoor space is lovely and the views are amazing.The area was very quiet and a walk to the beach doesn't take longer than 10min. I would really recommend Rita's house and the area to anyone thinking of visiting this part of Portugal.
