Everything about this house was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was an absolute wonderful setup and a really relaxing place to return to after a day of sightseeing. The pictures are very acurate but it was even more lovely in person. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

It’s a great laid back location and a beautiful house.

This villa was fantastic. We stayed as a family of 8. One double bedroom with an ensuite (also contained a cot as requested), then there was a large family bathroom shared by the other three rooms -a double, a twin, and a room with bunk beds. Helpfully there was also a toilet and shower in a small building outside by the pool. The villa was exceptionally clean and maintained to a high standard. The pool was a fantastic size and with a good depth - one end over 6ft. We decided not to hire a car and instead used uber/bolt to get around which worked out cheaper for us. The area is also lovely to be near the hills and with close proximity to the sites of Sintra and the beach. (If you are visiting the Sintra parks plan your day carefully as the one way roads means it takes much longer to get there than get back).Approximately a 45-60min drive to Lisbon and less than 10 to the coast. Check in, check out was seamless and the host was always available via WhatsApp if needed. Thank you for a great stay!!

Great villa and our family had a wonderful stay. Spacious, well equipped with a lovely pool we wanted for nothing! Close to lovely beaches and the magical town of sintra this truly is a great base for you to explore. Some lovely restaurants within walking distance as well. We will return

The villa was perfect for our needs. Well equipped and very comfortable. Also nice and secure with the gated driveway entrance. Good sunbeds and nice clean pool. We loved it.

We have stayed at many rental properties over the years and this house stands out as one of the very best. Mafalda met us on arrival, showed us around and I was immediately impressed by the quality of everything in the house. I really cannot fault it and if I returned to the area I would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing home away from home. The area is perfect location with so many amenities including 4 showers. Mafalda was so welcoming. We will definitely come back again. We loved adraga beach, cascais beach. For foodTasc julio, gigi pizza, adraga resturant were our favorites.

This home is spectacular, all the amenities needed, clean, comfortable, spacious, close walking distance to cute town of Colares where there are grocery markets and coffee shops and the cutest ducks!!! Will definitely come back again!

Really clean and tidy casa with a lot of space, terrasses and a great and super clean pool. The kids loved it. Very modern house, equipped with everything we needed. Also the owner was really kind and friendly. The location was perfect for surfing at the Beach Praia Grande, bouldering/climbing and sightseeing around Sintra and hiking on the near coast. Perfect holiday for us.

The property is in immaculate condition and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday, including a separate play room for our children. The restaurants in Colares are lovely and an easy walk.

The house is BETTER than the description! There are four bathrooms on the property, each with shower and toilet. The kitchen is lovely and adequately equipped, though not for anything but basic food prep. The house is perfect for family gatherings; well maintained and well equipped. The evening views are spectacular, and the pool was perfect for swims after a busy day touring and walking. Colares is a lovely and quaint village, with everything you need for groceries, gas (you definitely need a SMALL car there), and cafes. Please note that websites are not updated and accurate, so be prepared if a restaurant isn't open as expected! A perfect location with easy access to beaches and Sintra. Highly recommended!

This house was really good for our family with five adults. It was clean and nice and included everything one could think from beach towels to chargoal grill and washing machines. Bedrooms were big and nice. Master bedroom had its own bathroom, which was a nice surprise. Location was also excellent, close to Praia Grande, Sintra, Lissabon, Cascais and Ericeira. And good grocery store, winery, coffee shops and brewery are within short walking distance. Our host was helpful and answered immediately if something came up. We would definitely visit this house again!

The house is well equipped, conveniently located in Colares to visit Lisboa, Sintra and the nearby beaches and enjoy a family vacation.
