Great location
Charming historic house that has been lovingly restored. We appreciated the location so close to the bike path and a block away from the downtown area. Place was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary and more unique than a boring hotel room, I'd highly recommend staying here!
Again, Tanguy has aided us in creating great family memories and a comfortable stay. He worked with me in figuring out how to accommodate us and I truly appreciate it. Mostly everything we needed to cook and get cozy was provided, the view as always, soothing and the location unbeatable.
Tanguy was a wonderful host. He took excellent care of us and ensured we had a top notch stay. We recommend his properties highly!
Historic home. Pleasant stay
Great location and place to stay in Seward. It's right across the street from the bay. The historic decor is fun too.
Everything was as advertised. Great location. Walked to Resurrection Bay both nights for boat watching and to watch the fishermen on shore. Great meals at local restaurants close by.
The town is so cute and it was so special to stay in a historical building! The beds were very comfortable! Wished ww could have stayed longer!
We had a one day fishing trip out of Seward and this place was perfect for two nights. Our friends and us had plenty of room and were very comfortable. Lori
First time to Alaska and Seward definitely has all things Alaska. Stayed all 7 days in this town and each day was a new adventure. Even just the Sea Life center was a favorite. The water is within site of this place, walking distance to everything. Absolutely the perfect place. Clean, plenty of room and perfectly located in town. Thankful we found this gem and highly recommended. Hosts also are very helpful on local advice.
This place was perfect for a Seward stay. Walking distance to everything. The place itself was such a charming little historical find. Everything was clean and well stocked and host was fantastic!
The property had great Mountain View’s as well as a water view from the kitchen. The property was as advertised and communication with the house with easy and they were quick to respond to questions
Great stay
The place worked good. But the listing has the wrong address & the property manager never returned our 3 calls requesting how to put the heat on & what the Wi-Fi code was. We did find the code on a slip of paper by the tv & did get some heat. Also, the text symbol for the property manager does not work. So no texting. The view is great & eventually everything worked.
Conveniently located, Walking distance to the harbor, the sealife center, and downtown restaurants. Interesting decor, lots of antiques. Good selection of spices and condiments, as well as coffee and tea. There is no dishwasher, so if you plan to cook much, be prepared to wash dishes.
We truly felt like we'd been living in Alaska for two weeks. My friend and I absolutely fell in love with everything little Seward had to offer, and by visiting in September we avoided both bugs and crowds. Tanguy was a wonderful host! Nancy and Betty
This property was surprisingly better than the pictures. We used the well-equipped kitchen for breakfast and lunch prep. We had a great stay. Tanguy is a gracious host.
Pleasant
A really interesting place to stay located right on the water in Seward.
Walking distance to SeaLife Center and Library & Museum . A block away from gift shops, health food shop and restaurants. About 5 blocks from the Marine Harbor where we took several fishing charters. Seward is a cute little small town with 1 grocery store
What fun to stay in such a unique place. It was clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, it was rainy the entire time we were in Seward.
The property has a unique feature as it looks like a historical building. The owner took an effort to decorate the place with some old artifacts to highlight the past splendor. The kitchen is small and the cabinet is crappy. The bedrooms are ok size-wise, but the mattresses are saggy. My friend said that she found hair on her bed sheet. The bathroom is remodeled and clean. In short, we think the place is acceptable for a short stay.
Clean and comfortable accommodations in a great location. We would definitely stay here again! Historic relevance of the house was particularly interesting!
Close to pretty much everything. Pictures accurately depict the place. We weren’t there much but comfortable surroundings. Stairway and downstairs still under remodel. Linens and beds comfortable.
