View-worthy home lined by trees with a fireplace, wrap-around deck, grill, & W/D

Very peaceful and quiet get away retreat! Scenic view of the mountains and the listing is as advertised. I noticed complaints about road access to the property, but it’s on a mountain and not hard to access at all. It’s exactly what you would expect for a mountain retreat! The property appeared clean, but the floors definitely were not. The property manager was very kind & attentive and even offered to have a crew come fix it. That is really our only complaint, would definitely stay again.

This was our first time at this location, and we hope it won’t be our last. The view is spectacular! A little scary up and down the mountain road if you’re not used to it, but after a few drives, it’s not bad. The space itself is GREAT! Clean, spacious, and all the cooking essentials needed for a quality stay. Plenty of room to comfortably sleep quite a few, and a great place to hang out as a family, or friends, including in the “music room”. The location is not too far from downtown Franklin, good for shopping and restaurants. We spent most of our days in the mountains, and depending upon where you go, your trip could be 20 mins, or an hour and 20 mins. BEAUTIFUL drives, either way.

We absolutely loved our stay! A great place, and a great location; perfect for a get-away. Whether you’re traveling with family, or a girls trip, even a bro-hangout…this is a GREAT place to hang. Quiet, peaceful, and great views. It’s a little scary the first few times you drive down the mountain road, but after a while you get used to it. Close to Franklin, means there are great dining and shopping locations during the day. If you’re into hiking, depending upon which direction you wanna go, there are great places for you to travel to. All in all, 10/10.

The house was spacious and had everything we needed! Comfy beds & charming decor. A great location with easy access to hiking trails,.Franklin, Dillsboro & Sylva! We would definitely stay here again!

Do not haul a trailer with motorcycles to this location.

Beautiful spacious house with great view!

Lovely house with beautiful views. However, unless you are confident driving in the dark, I suggest that you arrive before sunset as the road leading to the house is narrow and winding up the mountain.

A great place for a bunch of old motorcycle riders to enjoy the mountains. The garage was a great to keep the bikes in. You get a lot for price.

The property is great for a big family; however, you can tell there is a shortage of cleaning staff in this area. Questionably clean sheets on downstairs beds, dead bugs when you opened curtains, and along the walls; 1/2 used toilet paper rolls with no replacements; dirty dishes in dishwasher, spiders webs covered the porch; blown bulbs were just a few of the unclean conditions. Also, there is no A/C in the bottom bedrooms - it was very uncomfortable. There was a box fan that was missing a blade in the smaller bedroom it was so weird. This would be an amazing property with a little TLC & cleaning. Also, coming from Florida, I didn't consider the time it takes to drive narrow roads up and down a mountain. It was fun and we got to meet Luke at Luke's Still Rd; but, running to the store if we needed something wasn't something we could do quickly. And as the listing says you would need a 4x4 in the winter.
