VIEW! BEACH! HOT TUB! FIREPLACE! REPEAT!

This was such a charming home. They had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and well laid out instructions for any features in the home. The view was truly spectacular and we truly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely recommending this stay to friends and family as well as hopefully getting to book another stay in the future ourselves!

Clean, pet friendly, hottub was great, and beach access was outstanding. Comfortable beds and furniture. Ping pong in the garage was a plus! Would recommend.

View! Beach! Hot Tub! Fireplace! Repeat we did! Brookings, OR is a magical place and this beach rental did not disappoint! It had everything one would need to be comfortable. There’s a Fred Meyer a few miles away & we prepared all our own meals easily in the well stocked kitchen. There was even a coffee grinder for fresh coffee in the am. We used the ping pong table, hot tub & fireplace every day & only a 7 minute walk down to the beach! There’s even a bike to ride! Our only regret is having to leave! Thank you Mike & Cathy! A hosts!!!

Beautiful beach view! We loved the private beach access as well as the hot tub on the deck. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d stay here again if ever in the area.

Wonderful property! The house was so cute and cozy and had everything we needed right down to a portable crib and high chair for my granddaughter. The beach was easily accessible for our group and the wild life we saw daily was worth the trip to it each time. The views are amazing and Mike and Cathy are very gracious hosts. Highly recommend staying with them!

Beach access was great. Beds were comfy. View out the windows was beautiful. The hot tub and deck chairs need some TLC. The grandkids had a wonderful time and want to come back. No one has control over the weather but it was perfect the whole time. Our yearly trip to the coast with the kids was a success!! Thank you.

Hubs & I were looking to get away for a few days. Upon searching for a home we came across this gem. The location was great. The house was clean & had all the amenities that we needed. Spectacular ocean view. It was great having access to the beach so close by.

Overall, our stay was good the things that I was not happy about was that we look forward to having a jacuzzi to enjoy with the kids and three days before our stay we were notified that the jacuzzi had not been working for months and we were given the option to cancel our stay which would have ruined Easter and our trip for our family. I think the owners should have declared in advance the jacuzzi was not working. Also, there is not much privacy as the neighbors' deck is litterly in the yard to this home and there's no avoiding it. The ad also makes it look like the stairs to the beach are right outside this home or on the property they are not you after to walk around another home down a path to the stairs that are in questionable shape with berry bushes growing through the stairs, my granddaughter got splinters in her hand holding on to the rail because they are so weather damages. As well as we were there to relax and when my Fiancé was sitting on the deck relaxing a contractor came to work on the property and any work on the house should be done when there are no renters. The house is smaller than it looks and the removed the door to enter the garage to claim a third Bedroom, so you have to walk outside into the garage to do laundry which is so inconvenient. The list also said there was a gym and there was not. There also is no gas grill there is a charcoal grill but no charcoal to use to cook outside. I would not stay here again.

Even with stormy weather, we live the Oregon Coast. We went down to the private beach and it was wonderful. Amazing views from the living room. Cozy and comfortable.

Loved the 2 private master suites, the easy beach access and incredible view from the entire home. Great beach decor. Clean, comfortable and very organized. Easy and convenient parking. Will definitely do it again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home was clean and all the amenities are as described. A short drive to the California redwoods and various coastal sites along the 101.

Exterior of home is very outdated and needs cleaning and repairs. Inside had a mildew smell - There is no access from the garage into the home (the previous door that was there has been sealed off. Description says it has a garage, but you can’t drive a vehicle into it due to items being inside. There is a carport but it’s extremely narrow to get into. Location of home is ok, just a short walk down to the beach. Description says has portable baby crib, but we could not find it - also says there is a gym, but there is not one nor are there any items that can be used for exercise. Description says A/C and Heat and that is true on a small level - there is 1 Mitsubishi unit in the living area that is supposed to heat and cool the entire home, but it is not sufficient enough to do so. Overall, the home is very outdated and could use a lot of TLC. Best thing about it was the location.

The ad for this home made certain claims. So we had certain expectations of what the stay would be like. And it was as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed or time in Mike and a Cathy’s home. Well decorated, well supplied, centrally located, and all the “touristy” activities we had hoped for. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts…

What a wonderfully fabulous location to spend a family vacation ... and with our fur baby ♥ Thank you, Mike and Cathy, for inviting us to stay in your beautiful home. We loved it so much that we even extended our stay so that we could continue to enjoy the coastal views, the private beach, the cozy, comfy and fully stocked home, not to mention having the opportunity to start and end each day in the hot tub. There was really nothing more we could have wanted and this home is truly a little slice of heaven!

Nice quiet area , plenty of room for Family and or friends and close to everything!

We really enjoyed this cutely decorated home and its quiet neighborhood. It had a good view of the ocean, although as the listing’s pictures show, it’s not a full panoramic view since the neighbor’s house is very close and to the side blocking a partial view. But you can still hear the ocean well from the deck and the beach access was great. The neighborhood is close to town and the harbor which was really nice. We enjoyed the games, puzzles, and ping pong table in the garage. We just weren’t sure how to turn on the garage lights. (I know we probably could have asked). The check in and checkout instructions were very clear. My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A couple of things that could be improved were that the freezer was very loud when the motor ran on it, and the master bedroom bed was not great. (The other beds were just fine though). Overall a great experience.
