Stayed May 17, 2026Ben was an excellent host. The house was a reasonable walking distance to the French Quarter, so we didn't have to worry about parking in the quarter. Everything was clean and in good repair. Street parking worked well. There was ample beds for our group and there were plenty of options for watching sports and other shows on the television

Stayed Nov 3, 2025The Property Managers from Historic Getaways were great and did what they could to make our stay more enjoyable. They get a five star.We did not feel the cottage was fairly represented. When we arrived, we found only three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the reasons we rented this particular cottage was because it had three bathrooms. We contacted the Property Managers and they said the other bedroom was being used by the owner. They said the owner would be out by noon the next day. The room was empty and cleaned by the next day. However, we were not happy that the door to that room only locked from the inside, which meant that the person in that room had access to all of our personal belongings when we were not there.The footage was well worn, and did not look clean and bright as depicted in the photos. There were no dressers in the bedroom!! The bedrooms did have a rod screwed into the wall to hang clothes, but there were no closets. Since there were no dressers, you had to use the mattress of the unused bed as a dresser. There was not a standard size dining table. There was a small table in the kitchen that four people could eat at. There were only three cocktail glasses in the cupboard. Historic Getaways did bring us three additional glasses, two more chairs and robes that were listed in the amenities but were not in the cottage. There were wooden floors in a lot of the rooms and bathrooms. These floors were quite old and some planlks had gaps.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025The house was very cute. Had enough room for all nine of us! Location was perfect. It seemed like a short walk or short drive to just about everything. Service was great very responsive would rent again.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025Came in on motorcycles from Chicago. Great place to stay everything was great and as expected. Great location! Very enjoyable stay. Found great local bar Bubba’s down the street with great burgers and also great food at Li’l Dizzy’s walking distance.
