Venice House near Shamrock Park

Keyless entry would be more convenient ( not carrying someones key )TV s in bedroom would also be a plus. More than 1 trash bag for a week ,toliet tissue and paper towels would be more convenient. Also long lenght mirror would be great! The place was nice just these items would be helpful

Location was wonderful…very close to all restaurants, stores, and Shamrock Park! House was comfortable but superficially cleaned ( blinds dusty, dusty lights, throw rugs needed washing etc. ). There were sufficient kitchen items but the pots and pans needed upgrading. There were just enough cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels etc. to get you through the first few days. The screened in porch was a wonderful addition. Maintenance company was very responsive when called to replace microwave and also water filters. We enjoyed our two months there.

The property was lacking landscaping, outdoor seating and color. First impression -neighbors parking on the front/side yards , messy -very unappealing A cozy outdoor area for your northern guests would have been a plus. The water smelled of rotten eggs for 1 week. Finally was corrected for the 2nd week. (At least 2 requests to management) unfortunately the water pressure was an issue for the second half of our stay. Furniture was sparse. Not cozy. Windows in the Master lacked screens. The bathrooms were great . Closet space was awesome. The washer/dryer was very convenient. Bikes were very nice. Park was wonderful Towels were plentiful though bleached stained ones should be retired. No tin foil, plastic wrap 1 garbage bag 1 dishwasher tab Nice to have some spices and coffee /filters Beach umbrella was broken. The location to beaches was excellent. The weather was magnificent. Hoping constructive criticism/feedback is helpful.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The inside of the house was nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen had sufficient appliances and amenities for our meals; beds were comfortable. The lanai was our favorite spot to enjoy Florida outdoors comfortably. When we arrived we were surprised to find out that we couldn't flush toilet paper down the toilet due to septic challenges. We think this should have been stated before renting as this could cause difficulties for some people. Also, rules of the owner wouldn't permit the air conditioner to go below 75 degrees. Again, this might be a important fact people should know about. The advertised picture of the house on the outside doesn't represent the current view. Landscaping is needed to make it look as good outside as it does inside. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beaches, shopping, restaurants and parks! This is a beautiful location in Florida!

The renovated bathrooms were definitely the highlight of the property except for the ants that made the Master Bath their home. Otherwise, the screened porch was in disrepair and unsafe for our dog or any child and also had ants. The kitchen had minimal utensils and does not qualify as “luxury”! The yard reflects a total lack of attention for the last year or more and lacks the basic landscaping mulch to cover the black plastic coverings. However, it is consistent with the rest of the neighborhood that lacks any resemblance to “luxury”!

Property was a great location for us since it was close to our family who lives there. Not too far from the beach.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks at this property and had what we needed to soak up the Florida sun. Marina was easy to work with through booking and stay. Some minor issues were discovered at check in and Marina quickly resolved them. Most rooms in the house have been renovated and the screened in lanai is a plus. The house is in a neighborhood close to Shamrock Park with access to the Venetian Waterway bike paths so having bikes at the property to use was great. It's also a quick car ride to the Venice beaches and they provided beach chairs and umbrella to enjoy some beachtime. House location is convenient to grocery stores and downtown Venice shopping. Overall a positive experience.

Great property. Looks as good if not better in person. Great communication, smooth check in process. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient location close to beaches. I will stay again.

The property was exactly as described - very clean, nice kitchen and bathrooms and a good screen porch for relaxing and working. We used it as a base for visiting family all along the west coast. Very convenient. Quiet neighborhood. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to Shamrock Park.

Very clean property. However there is no cable TV provided you must stream everything which we are not used too . Also, hot water tank temp setting only gives you a Luke warm shower. It was very cold during our visit and this really sucked. Lastly, the owner of property had no problem texting you on the evening before checking out to ask me what time I was leaving on check out day but I texted her the day of my check out about my a jacket I left. She READ the text but never had the curiosity to reply??? How RUDE! So enjoy my jacket ? Also, bring your own trash bags, dishwasher soap basically everything because you will not find it there !!!
