Venice Florida near beach and downtown

The owner was responsive when asked via an email thru VRBO to repair a loud noise in the AC unit. It was done immediately via a local contractor.

Pet friendly with a nice fenced in backyard.

We arrived for our four night stay around 5pm. We came from two days at universal, planning to spend the next five at the beach. We brought minimal clothing, and underwear and opted for two swimsuits each. With a family of four kids and two adults, packing light on a flight is essential. Well, day two the washing machine broke. It was July 3rd, so we knew there was little hope it would be fixed, due to the holiday. So, here we were, a family of 6 with no clothes, no towels (they provide NO beach stuff, which I get), but night two, my kid overeats salsa, pukes on his bed. No options there. We are sink washing suits, underwear. So, we didn’t exactly leave all the linens as the checkout asked, but because we couldn’t. Had we been able to do any laundry, we would have gladly washed towels. We purchased cheap Walmart towels to take to the beach (cheaper than beach towels), left those. Purchased beach stuff, left that. No options to take home those items, so hopefully they’ll leave them for the next family.

John was very responsive helped us the best he could. I would definitely stay here again. It was a beautiful home.

House was very clean, great location and my nephew (19 months) loved the fenced in backyard - every evening he’d want to go outside and run around. House had great amenities. Enjoyed our stay, would definitely rent this place again.

It was a nice residence that met our basic needs.

Our host John knew we were going to be staying to ride out Milton. He kept in constant contact with us throughout the storm and afterwards. We were allowed to extend our stay a couple more days reducing the anxiety we were feeling. Thank you John for being understanding, patient and pleasure to communicate with.

We loved the open floor plan so that everyone could socialize while some people were in the kitchen and others were in the living area. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds and baths were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect! Our host John responded quickly the two times we had a question and our stay couldn’t have been better. We would definitely rent this lovely house again!
