Stayed Apr 2, 2026This cozy apartment is exactly as listed. One clarification is that I see this space like a 2-person tent. Sure, 2 can fit, but it's most comfortable with only 1 (or 2 people who do not mind being in each other's space). It's not modern or updated but it has all the essentials, with the most important being a VERY comfortable bed which saved me on a daily basis. It is half a mile to Kroger and Brown's Diner and only a little further to all of Hillsboro Village. Street parking is plentiful and the neighborhood is quiet. This isn't a party pad. This is a cozy retreat close to everything.

Stayed Mar 27, 2026I can't honestly suggest using this room. The add says it can sleep two, well yeah if it's two people that don't mind sleeping in the one bed yes, but other than that there is essentially a closet that another person can sleep in, I brought my own roll up bed. If you are taller than 5'11 I'd definitely suggest you find a different place or you'll be smacking your head on the doorways and you'll have quite a problem using the tiny bathroom. My friend is 6'4 and this was a nightmare for him. The whole place has a musty smell and the floors are not level really anywhere in this small room. It wasn't dirty' just not a good place to stay for more than one person. If you are alone, need a room for one quick night it'll do in a pinch, but there are many many better places out there.

Stayed Mar 21, 2026Just needed a place to crash for the night and it was absolutely perfect for that. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Easy to find, easy to get in, easy check out, and host answered the phone immediately when I called.

Stayed Mar 17, 2026This was our second stay here. Both times we’ve only stayed over night and left the next day. We Uber’ed to Bridgestone (it was like 13) with no problems. Finding an uber that would pick us ups near Bridgestone was definitely a problem but we figured it out. The property is perfect for a single night stay. The only issue we had was getting the heat to actually heat the room. It was really cold for a few hours before it finally warmed up. It was already after 12am when we got back from our concert so I didn’t want to bother the host that late. Definitely the heat up first thing when you arrive if you go when it’s cold. We didn’t think about it when we arrived unfortunately.

Stayed Feb 28, 2026The only complaint was the check in process. You pull up to this house and theres no instructions or direction to go to the right place but the host answered my call immediately and talked me through it. Everything was as described and she was very nice.

Stayed Feb 12, 2026Rhonda was a great host and this was a great place to stay! It was well-located and had everything we needed for a nice weekend trip. Obviously a small space because it is a studio but it was perfect for my boyfriend and I during our weekend getaway!

Stayed Jan 21, 2026I slept well, the most important quality anywhere you spend the night. The shower water temperature control is touchy. I had a bit of a challenging finding the location after dark and had to contact the property for instructions where to get in.

Stayed Nov 25, 2025The place was nice, definitely an older home and the windows aren’t sealed entirely so it got pretty cold at night and in the morning. It was a bit small especially the bathroom but for the price and the area you can’t complain too much.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025When we pulled up to this property, we thought we were at the wrong house, as the lawn was overgrown, and there was junk all over the front porch and driveway. The main corridor to the rooms is run down, and the floor for the upstairs room we stayed in is extremely unlevel. Our room was probably 85 degrees when we got there because the window unit AC was not on at all, and there is no AC in the common area hallways. This is by far the worst short term rental I have ever stayed in. The neighborhood and location are great, but th house is bad.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024The place was clean and quiet. It’s perfect if you have an early morning procedure at Vanderbilt. It is just as advertised but dont expect much in the way of amenities. Bring your own soap and shampoo, blow dryer....
