Clean and homey. Felt like we had lived there all our lives. Although initially finding the property was a little difficult, it allowed us to take the scenic route through the community. So close to nature and the hike behind the house to the swing, was breathtaking. Definitely considering coming back. Thank you Mark for being a gracious host and so responsive! The book binder provided was a lot of help!
The property is in a very quiet and peaceful area. With the creek near by the nights on the porch we’re very relaxing. An hour 45 minute drive up to Sequoia National park. The stay was a great time for my family to bond and get out of the city. Mark is a great host with a 5 star care for his guests!
Owner Mark was very attentive, clear signs and instructions inside the property, along with a binder of recommendations which was nice. The front porch was a great peaceful hangout and lots of trail options in the surrounding areas
Really liked this property. Good location. Easy walk to mist stuff you want to do in downtown Memphis. Property was as advertised. Clean. Adequately equipped kitchen. Check in was super easy and owner did excellent job with communication.
Very nice place, many things to do. The house is very comfortable, just have to change the futon mattress (an adult cannot sleep there). And need a door in the bathroom of the Master bedroom. Mark is very friendly and respond very quickly to messages.
I enjoyed this little getaway. I needed out of my house. Lol. The closeness to nature and some great hikes was great.
Mark was very helpful. The home was very quiet and close to national parks.
This lovely house provided a great jumping-off point for our family to explore Sequoia National Monument (south of Sequoia National Park) and the surrounding areas. The house is clean and spacious. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including some basic spices and salt. This house is in a pretty remote area (although there are neighbors) and there’s no cell service, but the house has good WiFi for checking email, etc and there’s a landline phone for emergencies. The best part of this house is the big gorgeous deck, which was great for eating outdoors. The house has both heat and AC, and the weather varied so widely during our visit in May that we ended up using both.
We were taking a lengthy road trip and needed a spot to relax I'm the woods after the most taxing legs, and we are so glad to gave found this property! It was perfect, the front porch was amazing, just the place to hang out and listen to the sounds of the forest. We hope to return!
Perfect location and views.
