Vacation Home with Private Pool & Hot Tub - 7 Bedroom in Corolla, NC (OBX)

We have stayed in many properties and thoroughly enjoyed this home for our extended family’s vacation. It had everything we needed and was as described. Everyone loved the pool, hot tub and the proximity to the beach. Decor is nice and has a great beach vacation vibe, We had an awesome time taking our OVR to Cardova, which was super close. Discovering the karaoke machine was an added bonus. We used it to Rick Roll all the children in the morning, much to their surprise and annoyance. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a pleasant stay overall. The beach house was clean, quiet, and had enough room for our group of 11. The bedrooms were comfortable. The location was convenient, and we appreciated being within walking distance of the beach.Communication was okay, and someone was sent out right away to address the issues they were able to take care of. That said, there were several maintenance and supply concerns that should be addressed, i.e. there were no trash bags except the ones in the bins, the clocks were not working properly, at least one remote had dead batteries, and the kettle was rusty.The biggest issue was the dishwasher. It was not working properly during our Thursday–Monday stay, and we were told it could not be repaired until Monday. We had a personal chef preparing meals for our group, and because the dishwasher was not functional, she had to take on a significant amount of extra dishwashing. We did receive a small refund for the inconvenience, which helped offset the additional cost of paying the chef for that extra work.Overall, the house itself was nice, comfortable, and in a good location. I would consider staying again if the dishwasher and smaller maintenance issues were taken care of, but those details do matter when hosting a larger group.

Our stay at the Sassy Starfish was amazing! Jason was quick to reply to any messages and the house had everything we needed! It was a quick and easy walk to the beach, the kids enjoyed the game room (the adults probably enjoyed it even more), the hot tub was perfect on the cold days/nights. OH!! And the complimentary free bagels from Lighthouse Bagels!!! Soooo good! That was a hit with everyone! We really hope to rent again in the future and HIGHLY recommend renting to get in some quality family time!

Treated my daughter to a graduation get away. The house was super clean and the mutilevels provided for privacy for the mixed group. Girls on one floor and boys on the other. I had a nice bedroom on the upper floor and a desk for my work.

We travel often and this house was perfect for our family! So much to do onsite between the pool, hot tub, and pool table. Close to restaurants and shopping. All facets were well maintained and very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and little surprise extras from the host made this one of our favorite places we have travelled this year! The beach was only a short walk from the house. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall, the property was wonderful and home feel with beachy ambiance! I would no doubt a place I would rent again. The experience of renting this property, from booking , check-in, and check-out, seamless and a breeze...it's way it deserves Sassy Starfish name. Thank you Jason!
