Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or the local regional airport in Quepos, to the property in Uvita. We will also arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.

Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management representative at check-in and at check-out. Osa Property Management will be available via chat/phone number throughout the day and in the event of emergencies.


The home is wonderfully located in Uvita. Uvita has beautiful beaches, the hills are lush, wildlife is abundant and its the perfect place to surf, horseback ride or just relax. Uvita has great restaurants, including the Beehive Mediterranean restaurant 3 minutes away, several coffee shops, microbrewery, local, fine dining, grocery stores, banks and pharmacies. If you are looking for a beautiful beach destination that is far less developed than Manuel Antonio, Uvita is a fantastic alternative. The highlight is Marino Ballena National Park, featuring the famous sandy Whale Tail where migrating humpback whales can be seen just offshore. You can whale watch, dolphin watch or snorkel.

Uvita also makes a great base for exploring Dominical (12 miles North) which is a fun, funky hippie and counterculturist enclave with great shops, dining, live music, candlelight yoga, spas, bars and beach. The emerging town of Ojochal is nine miles to the South and is known as one of the best foodie locations in all of Costa Rica. Ojochal also offers easy access to Playa Ventanas, a small and beautiful beach famous for its sea caves.

For those who enjoy golfing, the southern pacific’s only golf course, Osa Golf Course, is an easy 25 minute drive south.


Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management / Costa Rica Las Villas Representative at the time of check-in, at the Osa Property Management Uvita office, which is located 5 minutes from the home. At the time of check-in our Representative will escort you to the home and provide the keys and PIN codes.

Check-in must be completed by 8:00 pm. For check-ins between 8 pm and 10 pm there is a $50 fee and approval must be made at least 48 hours in advance. No check-ins or arrivals after 10 pm. For security and safety reasons, we cannot leave keys outside a property for pick up later. Osa Property Management reserves the right to not grant access if guests are arriving after 8 pm.



The property is a private home with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the property and the PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL.

Home is easily accessible by any kind of SUV, AWD or 4x4 vehicle.
Small vehicles will not make it to the home.

Beach lovers will love the proximity to the beach and to Marino Ballena National Park (with its instantly recognizable whale's tail beach). Playa Dominical, known throughout Costa Rica as one of the best surfing beaches, is an easy 15 minutes to the north. Playa Ventanas (windows beach), and its window caves is 20 minutes to the south.

More adventurous guests will love the proximity to many of the area's best tours (horseback riding, ATV, whale and dolphin watching, SCUBA, snorkel and some of the world's most beautiful waterfalls).

The Owner Suite has in-room air conditioning, private bathroom, ceiling fan, SmartTV and sliding glass door access to the private swimming pool.

The open floor plan is perfect for families or groups to enjoy time together. The well equipped kitchen flows into the dining area and living room and then to the pool area. Open the doors for nice breezes and to hear the sounds of the jungle.

Pak-n'Play can be rented for an additional $50 USD plus VAT fee and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance

Every vacation rental managed by Osa Property Management will have the following provided:

Note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit of $500 (less $15 fee) or buying a non-refundable damage waiver for $45. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

    The house was perfect for my vacation. It was very close to Uvita and a short drive to Dominical. The house was extremely nice and modern. Pool is very large and warm. There was also a sloth living on the property that I saw daily. And every few days or so a family of Howler Monkeys would pass by. You could clearly hear them from the house and if you go outside you could see them. The only suggestion I would make. . . is for management to put some kind of sign or flag out by the road so guests do not miss the driveway. It is very hard to find at night time.

    We enjoyed our stay at the BC South house very much. It was convenient to town and private at the same time. It was very clean. Fully stocked and excellent new condition.

    This is an absolutely stunning house. The location is incredible. Even if there are other houses nearby, you still feel as if you are in the middle of the jungle. I think we were the first to stay there and that we had some first tenant issues. The utensils in the kitchen were worn out and dirty. The shower drains didn't drain so you have water to your ankles in a minute. The power went out a few times, which is normal, but the property management also did not respond about it until the next day when we tried to respond to it. If you are coming from San Jose, pay attention to the fact that they charge you an extra US$50 if you check in late, and the time you have to get from SJO to here is not enough to meet their late check-in cutoff. It's a great place with teething issues. Once those are ironed out, I am certain it will be much better.
