Upscale Adobe home on 2 acres, 20 min to Taos Ski Valley, Mtn Views, Birding

We loved this house so much so we decided to stay here again! The property is amazing, has every amenity you need, and Allison provides a very detailed book with information on restaurants and activities. We definitely want to see it again in the Spring/Summer.

23 Buena Vista was a lovely stay. The main outdoor space was where we spent most of our time as it's covered and has comfortable seating and a fireplace, view of the mountains and a peaceful, enclosed yard. We could hear the wind rustling in the trees at night and the yipping of coyotes. The birdlife is abundant and there is food to put out for them at the house. The master is separate from the other 2 bedrooms, and all of the bathrooms were very clean and well kept. The house is situated close to town and at the end of a road. We felt safe but also secluded. Upscale and comfortable!

The home was charming and full of character and comfort (and very clean!). The landscaping around the home was also beautiful and provided a serene and relaxing environment. We loved our stay in this exquisite home.

Lovely stay about 10 min from town. Everything was very well appointed - comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, high-quality furnishings, beautiful and expansive landscaped yard and plenty of outdoor seating. Excellent communication from host. We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a very well-cared for home.

I have been renting high end vacation homes for years, for family gatherings. This oasis is in my top 3. We will be back and for longer. It is perfect for my outdoorsy, fun-loving family! We took several hikes and runs in the great weather. We love food and cooking together and this well appointed kitchen fills the bill. We love enjoying time outside together and this space is perfect. Also between the many outside sitting areas (including the massive covered porch with the fireplace for cool mornings), the many bird feeders frequented by many species of birds and the hot tub we wiled away time visiting and soaking up the serenity. I saw a Rufus Humming bird!It is clear the owner of this property loves ambience as much as we do! The landscape, plants, decorations, lighting and art are delightful. So many occurrences of attention to detail. Allison, the host, was wonderfully attentive. We are already trying to get schedules sorted for another booking.

This house is so clean and beautifully decorated. If you’re looking for an immaculate true SW adobe feel in a secluded garden with gorgeous mountain views this is the home!! Allison was so responsive and gracious. Can’t say enough about this property. Will be back for sure!!

The pictures do not give the property justice . The grounds are covered with fresh landscaping, flowers and mature conifers that provide a sense of privacy. Yet the views extend for miles. Don't miss the sunsets and sunrises for maximum impact. All the birds brighten the surroundings.The spaces inside are grand with copious art work and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well appointed with serving dishes, pots, pans and utensils for cooking.My wife and I look forward to next year!

Our two adult sons and one son’s fiancé stayed here with my husband and I for a few days in early June. This house was perfect for our family to spend precious, joyous time together and find private time apart to unwind after outdoor adventures together (like white water rafting!) It’s so rare to find a vacation rental with sufficient, comfortable seating for five (and more) on the patio, at the dinner table, and front of the TV. Although this was the *first* vacation when nobody even turned the TV on, it was nice to know we could have watched a movie together without rearranging anything. The view of the mountains from the covered patio at any time of day, the patio’s fireplace at night, the varieties of birds that visited the many bird feeders around the yard, the lovely landscaping, the hot tub, and the fantastic number of stars at night kept us outside for most of our waking hours at this house. When we finally yielded and went to sleep each night, the beds were wonderfully comfortable.The location was so quiet and felt so private! The property sits along an unpaved road, which is off another unpaved road, so traffic through the neighborhood was almost nonexistent. The nearest neighbors were absolutely silent, so it was like we were staying in a remote location on our own, and yet, we were only a few minutes’ drive away from stores and restaurants. We made so many sweet memories in just a few days in this lovely home. I highly recommend staying here!

Stunning house inside and outside with everything you could desire. Amazing neighborhood, beautifully landscaped 2 acre lot in a great location, with incredible Mountain views. No detail was spared. Obsessed with furniture and decor! 10-15 inches of white powder snow creating a white winter wonderland during our trip. We will definitely return!
