The house was located in a great location for walking to restaurants and to the lake. The host was wonderful. Had a very relaxing enjoyable weekend.

The property is in a great location for quick beach access, and all places in and around downtown Port Austin. Quiet street puts it in walking distance to nearby restaurants and attractions. A great place at the tip of the thumb. Narrow stairs up the 3 room studio but the space is large and welcoming with a small family room/kitchenette, bath and bedroom. Enjoy what the thumb has to offer.

Cozy house and on pleasant street with great host. Easy walk to downtown and beach.

The listing failed to disclose that the homeowner resided on the premises. Furthermore, there was no mention of two large dogs also present in the house. The dogs were observed barking and attempting to breach the baby gate at us.

The owner is quite friendly and informative of the area. The upper flat is cute and cozy and the only criticism I had was a door between the upstairs and downstairs. She has plans to put in a door which will allow for more privacy and noise separation. It’s not as close to the beach as I thought but it isn’t far from it. The house is close to the downtown action. I recommend staying there.

Awesome location and a perfect amount of space for one or two people. Martha was a great host and we enjoyed the amenities offered. Not the best fit if you dislike dogs or want a private, separate entrance.

The property is beautiful. The home is well kept, the landscaping is wonderful. We stayed in the upper studio and it was furnished with a kitchenette with everything clean and working. Check in was flawless, our host met us upon check in, showed us to the upper studio and told us to let her know if we needed anything. We did not because everything was furnished and so inviting. This place is a diamond.

Very comfortable studio (although it was terribly hot). Martha was a great host - breakfast was very tasty and we had good conversation. Too short of a stay - next time!

Immaculate, clean, spotless, well-appointed, comfortable, close to beach, right in town, amenities as described, delicious breakfast with host Saturday morning, easy access, perfect communication with host, zero confusion, wanted for nothing. Zero problems. Very pleasant stay. A wonderful spot to lodge and explore the area.

We were in Port Austin for a wedding this weekend. Martha was a wonderful hostess, very kind and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a couple to stay also not bad with another couple that doesn’t mind a futon!! Two dogs, Blu and Scoobie bark a lot but are very friendly and super cute. Within walking distance to the farmer’s market, beach and bars/restraunts. Great location.
