Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time during our stay at Destiny Splash! The beach and toddler supplies were above average. It was so nice not having to travel with beach chairs, a toddler potty, toys, etc. However, we do have a few notes. The provided golf cart was awesome! We loved that it was included in our stay. When charging, the golf cart tripped the breaker multiple times and we lost power to part of the house. At one point, the whole house lost power and we had to call maintenance to figure out how to reset it. The pool filter quit working on day 4 of our stay. There were no scissors to be found anywhere in the house. The bikes did not have any air in the tires, and there was no provided pump. The dryer vent was unhooked when we arrived. All in all, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location and the provided golf cart made it feel worth it. The master bed is SO comfy!! The living room furniture was pretty dirty, to be honest.

House was very well stocked with beach items including coolers, chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. The house is beautiful and very conveniently located near the hwy for easy access out of the community.

Beautiful neighborhood, lovely streets, but inside was very disappointing. Torn screens on birdcage let lots of leaves in the pool. Couch and chairs were very worn and spotted. Looked to me the that whole house needs several updates and deep cleaning. Nice golf cart and bikes. Ice maker was great in the garage.

The house was in a gated area and location was perfect. Great places to eat nearby, just a golf cart ride away. The golf cart and bicycles came in very handy. The pool was awesome. The house was laid out nicely and was clean. The only faults I would say is that the house needs some long over due updates and the front bedroom doesn’t get cool. The outdoor space also need some updating.

The only major con was the living room and out door furniture, both were stained severely which gives you a feeling of uncleanness.

Reviewer Comments: The home is in a good location and we’ve always enjoyed our stays in this housing development (this was our third stay). We were met with some disappointment upon arrival to find there was no golf cart. After some calls (the staff were very responsive) we learned the previous renters wrecked it. The management company provided us with a loaner, but not until the next day and only after we had to complete lengthy paperwork (again). Overall the home is more outdated than the pictures present. The patio furniture was moldy and ill fitting. Inside furniture was also well past its prime, including beds and couches. The shower in the second master is almost to small for any adult to use and tiles in the master shower were cracked and broken. We still enjoyed our stay in Destin, but you may want to reconsider staying in this home.
