Stayed Jun 5, 2026We had a very busy weekend scheduled in Kearney and just needed a nice comfortable place to relax in the late evening and get a good night sleep. The Cow House was perfect for this. The back yard area was comfortable with nice lighting. The house is tastefully decorated and was a nice “home away from home”. We did not have opportunity to cook or grill while there but the kitchen appears to be well appointed. All-in-all it is a nice home with some of the natural coziness of a cottage built in the early 1900s.

Stayed May 22, 2026This property was really nice and clean. The yard is really beautiful. My pups kept going outside as they loved the grass. The curtains in the living room were too shear for my taste but that seemed to be protocol for the neighborhood. The access to I-80 was easy. Definitely a great place to stay.

Stayed Mar 3, 2025Our property we rented worked out great It was good to be in the middle of Kearney. We visited the Cranes at dawn and dusk. And our last morning we visited the Prairie Chicken.we would come back to our cute little house and coffee bar. Maggie, the owner must have had a blast decorating the house. Our first night in Kearney there were 80 mph winds. It did a number on our screen door. Maggie promptly offered to send her husband over to fix the door. Great place snd experience.
