Rustic Cottage Retreat

We enjoyed relaxing at the cabin.

Was in Kearney for a conference and thought this would be a nice quiet change of pace. It was! However, if you need to get work done, there is no wifi, but I brought my own hot-spot so I could work in this peaceful setting. The cabin was clean and modern with a small pond in front and a creek in the back. It was very serene and a excellent change of pace!

Our family needed a little get away in nature and this place was perfect. The cabin was cozy and clean and the land is beautiful! Our kids had a blast exploring and we will be back!

Amazing weekend getaway! The location was great. So much better than a stuffy hotel room! We hope to make this cabin a yearly tradition!

The house was nice. Very lovely location. Somewhat lacking on cooking dishes. Would love to have had a more informative instruction sheet on instructions around the house.

It was fine

The kitchen was fully equipped, and we really enjoyed the wood‑burning fireplace — the stacked firewood was such a thoughtful touch. We stayed over Christmas to visit family, and the property was perfect for letting our dogs roam the acreage. We were close to town to get out to go eat or shopping.

We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving here. Inside, we liked the hunting decor and open concept of the cabin design. Outside, we liked to walk the trails and enjoy the deer, squirrels and birds that visited the property. Our host was very friendly and always quickly responded to any inquiry that we had.

Everything was great. Have rented this place for three or four years now and it’s always been great.

We found sand on the main floor throughout the cabin. After that, I swept and kept sweeping throughout our stay. NE is a sandy place. Thank you for being honest about the communication. Lighting could be improved throughout the cabin. We enjoy reading books, and I needed to be able to see in the bathroom to insert a contact lens. Lastly, the mirror on the bathroom door needs to be permanently fixed. Thank you, we found this location ideal for us.

This cottage was perfect! Far away enough from the city but close enough to get there if we needed anything. We were very impressed with the whole place! Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed the quiet cozy setting of this cottage. It was just a few minutes drive from downtown while still being located out in a rural area.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy, quaint cabin. Everything we needed was right there. It was clean, quiet and perfect for our family of four.

Beautiful Cabin. But.... No Closets...No Hooks...No Coat rack. Had to lay our suitcases on the floor and hang clothing on the stair rail. Nice Queen Bed upstairs...but beware older folks, you have to go downstairs to pee at night ! Nice shower. Nice dishes. Great fireplace.Dining table nice...but no light above it; too dark to play cards. TV antenna work good...once we figured it out ! ( input which when u change channels...count to 10 to wait for channel to come in. Instructions woild have been Nice !. Fyi teflon coming off in sauce pan. Should listi g not have to say No WiFi??Lovely to see and hear Sandhill Cranes fly overhead.

Went to Kearney to watch the crane migration. Incredible experience. The property is ideally located as it is in the heart of crane viewing. Everything relating to the property was as advertised and very good. If I had one suggestion it would be to enhance cell service.

Wonderful place! We loved the cute cabin, the country atmosphere, the creek in back and sandhill cranes. Very accommodating owner: we originally booked 2 nights during crane season and ended up staying 5!

The cabin was so clean and cozy with a gorgeous stone fireplace and comfortable furnishings. We were visiting the area to view the Sandhill crane migration, and their flight pattern was right over the cabin. The cabin was close to town but seemed remote.

Loved it. Very cute, very clean. Nice neighborhood.

My family has stayed here several times and will always look for this cabin first. The hosts are accommodating and it has always been a pleasure to stay here. I will always recommend staying here.

Liked it so much we stayed an extra day. The app wouldn't let us extend the day so we messaged the host who quickly facilitated. We enjoyed the movies, games, kitchen, fireplace, and house property area to walk in. Will definitely return/recommend to others.

Repeat stay few times now. Great place for our weekend. Will be continued return customers.
