Unwind Fireside: Serene Murphy Escape w/ Hot Tub!

This beautiful home provided everything we expected and more for a much needed weekend away, great folks to work with as well. Everything was impeccable with great pride in the home, impeccable cleaniliness, beautiful murals done by a local artist. We highly recommend this home for your next home away from home.

This place was emaculate with charming details in the decor! The location was in close proximity to the casino and to restaurants.

Great place. fantastic location. You come down the hill and bam there’s town. But when you’re at the house you feel like you’re miles away. Very quiet beautiful home.

Hummingbird House was the perfect landing pad for us while we attended classes at the John C. Campbell Folk School. The home was so charming and clean, with very easy check-in and check-out instructions and good communication with the host. It is also a very short drive to Downtown Murphy and the Folk School. It was perfect for us and we would absolutely stay again in the future!

The pictures truly didn’t do this place justice—what a hidden gem! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm. The hand-painted murals added such a unique and artistic touch. The setting was so peaceful and quiet, yet just a short drive to town. We spent our evenings soaking in the amazing hot tub, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect mix of serenity and convenience. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved that its close to town but private!

Our stay was perfect!! The location was an excellent combination with mountain surroundings but only minutes from town. The property was so well appointed and meticulously decorated it’s evident that the hosts care about the visitor experience. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

The town is beautiful, the view is beautiful, the owners responded very quickly. The people and neighbors were very nice. The hot tub was amazing.

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. It was a cozy little house right outside of Murphy. It was in a great location close to many things to do and see. The cottage itself was clean with everything you need. My favorite spot was the back porch sipping coffee. The owner was very helpful and was quick to respond. I would stay there again.

It is one of the best places we stayed at. Very clean, cozy, and has everything you think you would need. Both porches are fantastic and the hot tub is a nice addition for sure. The screened in porch in the back is also very nice. We will definitely try to stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Murphy. The house was beautiful, and the location was peaceful. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and cooking on the grill. We were glad to be near so many outdoor activities that allowed us to enjoy being out in nature.
