Stayed Jun 10, 2022My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here! The short drive from the cabin to Yellowstone Park was lovely- long enough to be scenic and enjoyable, yet short enough to drive everyday without too much of a dent on our gas tank. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the room was well-stocked with essentials, and we were able to buy food and other things at the store two buildings down, which was very convenient! I'm pretty sure there was a ghost who used the restroom at night (the toilet just made noises sometimes but mine at home does this too so it was easy to ignore). We were unfortunate enough to have a very large family staying in the suite above us, so we could hear little children running around late into the night, but the family did a pretty good job of getting them to sleep before the official quiet time most nights, and it was encouraging to see young families enjoying themselves in the great outdoors! Due to flooding, we weren't able to see much of the park itself, but there were plenty of attractions and towns nearby that we enjoyed visiting instead! The whole resort was sandwiched between beautiful mountains and a gorgeous lake. We definitely got our money's worth, and we hope to come back next year!

Stayed Jul 29, 2021I cannot impress upon anyone considering to stay at this property to reconsider their choice. It's like a Motel 6. I like to support small family owned businesses, but this place is completely run down and there is ZERO organization. We stayed with my 2 young daughters and my in-laws. We were on the bottom level and could heard anyone who would be walking in their room above us. When we asked the front desk to please speak to some of the people renting the rooms above us we were blown off as if there was nothing they could do. We were given 4 rough, thin towels and 2 tattered wash cloths for 6 people as stated on our reservation. I was given 2 extras which had to be used for the toilet that was leaking from the bottom. Someone came in to fix the toilet while we were gone and left the wet, soiled towels on the bathroom floor. The small fridge struggled to keep food cold and the tine ice box at the top was iced over and needs to be defrosted. The sheets and blankets were thin and old. The carpet looks like it has not been deep cleaned in years. Day 1, the shower and one of the sinks need to be unclogged so someone else had to come into our room to take care of it. People park their cars wherever they want making it so that people cannot drive around some of the property. The boats/paddleboards/etc. available to rent for a high price are old, rusted and not kept up. When we asked for a basketball to shoot hoops, they had only one that was flat. The jacuzzi small like chlorine has not been added in years. There were also old, faded outdoor kids toys for your children's enjoyment. My in-laws went to the restaurant. The food was skimpy and TERRIBLE and it must be the guy the runs the front desk who also plays the role of server, cook and busser. Beware of the arcade room.... they take your quarters and half are broken. Don't expect a refund of your quarters without having taken a video of you putting them in. Final straw was when we went to the front desk to ask for a small piece of tape for the lid of our foam cooler we were using to which we were told we could buy a full roll of duck tape in their store if we needed tape. I don't expect anything for free but with the amount of problems we had during the trip with our room I'm shocked they couldn't assist with a small piece of tape. Total disappointment.

Stayed Jul 23, 2020We chose this location based on proximity to the west entrance of Yellowstone. Lake Henry is primarily a remote fishing lake with a lot of tranquil nature around. The accommodations are a bit rustic, but worked well for us.
