It sits in the backyard of the main home, which is occupied by a family of 5, a cat, and 5 chickens. Yes we have chickens!
It is unattached from the main house but the backyard is a shared space. However, the Tiny House has a private fenced-in backyard.
We welcome friendly guests only. If you don't like people or animals, this is NOT the space for you.

Stayed Jun 29, 2025Great place to relax during a busy trip to College Park. Very comfortable and welcoming. Host was friendly and communicated well before, during and after stay. We’ve shared the location with friends who frequently travel to the area and next time we come to MD, I hope to stay here again.

Stayed Jul 6, 2025The Tiny House is accurately but modestly described on the VRBO site. Nothing prepared us for the quality of all the materials used and appointments offered throughout the house, especially the beautiful bath/shower tile work and the great kitchen appliances. The air conditioning worked beautifully as well. The hosts are friendly and helpful. All in all, this place deserves a five-star rating.

Stayed Jun 12, 2025This “tiny house” in not really tiny, it is perfect size and very comfortable. The location is exactly what we needed, close enough to Baltimore to commute easily, and close enough to DC to take the train in and explore there. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel quite welcome. I’d love to stay there again when we are in the area.

Stayed Jun 1, 2025This is a very nice place to rent. We spent our days in DC and this location suited us well. The host and hostess were very pleasant and helpful with anything we needed. I would recommend staying here vs a loud hotel room any day!

Stayed Jun 23, 2024This lovely rental provided the perfect home away from home for a 1 month research experience at ARL. The location was conveniently located within 10 min of the lab and had easy access routes DC, Bethesda and Baltimore. It was far more comfortable than a hotel by offering bright and sunny space plenty of room for one person.

Stayed May 11, 2023We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the tiny house. So much better than staying at a hotel. The location was quiet and private, but also very convenient for touring DC. The place was very well appointed with high end finishes not usually found in a rental unit. We highly recommend this property and gladly stay there again.
