Great ski house! Very convenient to access mountain w/o driving. Plan to return next year.

The Property amenities mention a wood-fire place, but guests are required to bring their own firewood, as the host does not guarantee it will be stocked (we were only notified of this after completing the non-refundable payments). The sidewalk and driveway were also pure ice and did not appear to have been maintained recently. Very little snow had fallen in the two weeks leading up to our stay, and none during the 10 days we were there, so this was a bit surprising.The “high-speed” internet advertised is listed as 25 Mbps, which in practice is really only sufficient for 1–2 devices. For a house that is supposed to accommodate up to 14 people, that realistically means many more devices in use. For a short weekend stay, this might be manageable using data, but we were there for 10 days, so it was more noticeable.

The home was well-appointed and our property manager, Gabriel, was easy to contact. Instructions on check-in, and check-out were clear. I would stay here again.

Our family stay for Christmas was excellent. The space was beautiful, the kitchen stocked for all our cooking needs (griddle for pancakes, slow cooker and rice cooker!), the hot tub and pool table kept the young adults entertained, and the beds/linens were comfortable. Loved that each room had their own ensuite. Great communication with the host. They even put up a tree to make it festive. Location was amazing too. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful accommodations central to downhill, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Great venue for family get together. All loved the outdoor hot tub and playing pool. Fabulous kitchen for group cooking that was well equipped with a surprising number of appliances. Wood and electric fireplaces added lovely ambiance. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this property. Very spacious, kitchen was very well appointed. Everyone loved that each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Dining area was great for a group. Loved the multiple seating areas and TV room.Wifi was not very good - we tried to stream a movie one evening and weren't able to.

Great home for multi-family trip to Rockies. fully equipped kitchen was amazing for group dinners and lots of living space to spread out for games and visiting.

We went with our family and my eldest son who just got married’ we all enjoyed our stay there and the house is very beautiful and clean with a stunning view from there, we would love to go back and visit the house again, Thanks for making our trip wonderful and the memories we will have, Thanks

The size accommodated our large family very well. WiFi was slow and mosquitoes were horrible, but out of your control :)Well stocked kitchen, fun pool table, bathrooms galore!

Our family rented this beautiful home for a family wedding in Golden. We LOVED the house and found that everything was just as listed. It was definitely a little distance from town but worth the drive and views. Everyone had plenty of space. Also loved the fact that even with everyone visiting inside the kitchen people could still sleep without noise upstairs. The only downfall I found was no A/C in the house. It did cool down ok, but if closing the curtains airflow wasn’t great upstairs. Mosquitoes love this area as well so just take lots of bug spray! Would definitely stay again!

The house was well decorated and designed. It had many condiments and every dish, pot and pan you could ever need. Absolutely the cleanest VRBO rental we have been in. The beds were very comfortable. Perfect location and very quiet. Nice trail access right behind the house.

Here for a week before going to Banff. This is a very nice house, well maintained with so much room. Family room easily accommodated 12, kitchen is well stocked for large meal prep, TV room is infront away from the noise of kitchen, dining room, and game room. The only negative is the internet is very poor and cell reception doesn’t work with a hotspot. Some houses on the street are better than the Telus DSL here. It doesn’t support video conferencing.

Again amazing place but more towels are needed , was no coffee . Beds in masters were separated this time , would have been better to be aware and a place like this should have more tv's . Thank you and will be back

Third time staying here. All three times have been great!!

Required last minute accommodation for group of 12 due to cancellation of ski traverse. Gabriel was excellent in sorting out our arrival and the set up of the accommodation. Well appointed and space to get away to have time for yourself.

A group of friends with kids, very roomie. Every bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Lots of room to spread out kitchen is excellently stocked and they leave condiments and spices there for you to use . place is very comfortable. Not too fancy.

We choose this property for a Christmas / New Year's holiday for our extended family of 13 coming from different parts of Canada and Europe. It was our perfect size for our group and just a 5 minute drive (or walkable) to both the ski hill and the Nordic center. Gabriel is also a very responsive host and all instructions were clear and confirmed. The house has plenty of space for all activites, and the pool table and hot tub were well utilized by our family. We definitely would recommend.

Our family of 9 loved staying together at The Grand Chalet Grizzli. It is grand indeed! Large spacious and beautiful, each couple had their own king sized bed with luxury linens and an attached bathroom. Each bedroom has it own thermostat for custom temperature control. We enjoyed cooking together in the huge and well equipped kitchen, then sharing a meal at the family table — everyone telling stories of their mountain adventures from the day.The spectacular wood burning fireplace was a special bonus and the supply of wood generous. The hot tub was the favourite spot to be after a day on the slopes and Nordic trails.Spotlessly clean!Book The Grizzli for your next family holiday. You won’t regret it!Can’t wait to be back

Beautifully well equipped home. All the things you need to make your own meals and cozy in. Rooms are spacious and everyone having their own bathroom is a game changer. Will definitely be back.

My large family group loved our stay in this home. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom which was a real treat after staying in smaller accomodations for the beginning of our trip. The house is spacious and well taken care of for the most part. The house is a bit out of the way of actual downtown Golden, but we enjoyed the drive up the mountain each day coming back. Only complaint is that many of the bathroom windows did not have curtains and so when showering it felt that the neighbors could look in on us. Curtains in the rooms did not always work or were jammed when we got there. The host had good communication wjth our family and answered al pur questions. We definitely would want to stay again!

This is a beautiful upscale home. Every room is spacious and luxurious. Every bedroom is an en-suite, the kitchen has everything you need, and there are several living areas to spread out in. The location is quiet and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
