Tybee ocean views, short walk to beach Pet friendly

Excellent location---quieter neighborhood, but still pretty close to downtown Tybee, and the lighthouse and museum are within walking distance. The host was very responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely stay there again were we to return to Tybee!

Property was as described. We loved staying on the island. Met lots of people during our stay. Cooler weather than expected but got a beach day in there. We rented a golf cart for 2 of our days and rode the bicycles that were provided as well. We even made a day trip over to Savannah. Great restaurants in the area: Flying Fish Bar and Grill, Treylor Park, and Huc a Poo's.

This home was excellent. Prior to arrival the owner reached out w useful information and offers to help w anything we needed. The unit is very comfortable and well-stocked w kitchen supplies. The bikes were a great addition. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Tybee

The beds in every room were very comfortable. I have a bad back so I really appreciate a good bed. The place was immaculate and had everything you could possible need to have a great time. The kitchen was well stocked with great cook wear. And tons of gadgets! Everything was in great working order. Superior furnishing. Shelly really went the extra mile in all. Location was good. Best view is on the top floor. While other floors had really comfortable, enjoyable balconies, not much to view. Within walking distance to beautiful beach area. The neighborhood is nice and clean.

This was the best stocked rental I have ever had. It had everything you could possibly need-paper products, detergents, beach equipment, bicycles. The walk to the beach with all the beach necessities for 4 was a little difficult. It was easier to load our stuff up and go in at the entrance by North Bar. Also, easy to get frozen drinks and take them to the beach. Overall, it was a very nice rental. Very roomy.

We loved our visit here. The garage was full of gear for the beach. We ended up hardly using the gear we brought because there was plenty! Our teenagers loved the basement apartment that gave them their own little space. The neighborhood was cozy and the neighbors were really nice.Tybee island is our favorite beach vacation spot and we’re certainly be staying here again!

The property was very well equipped, spacious and clean. We enjoyed all the balconies but the view of the ocean was not as expected. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. nice and quiet neighborhood.

We truly enjoyed the property and our stay. A quick walk to the beach, a pet friendly house, plenty of space, and excellent communication. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing trip! Home was beautiful, spacious, and everything you need for a home away from home! Turtle pond was a perfect evening walk and a stroll to the gazebo is a must.. we celebrated our grandsons 5th birthday and took Captain Derek’s Dolphin Tour.. Thanks again for providing this home for others to enjoy.

Great place to stay. Family friendly, just need more clothes hangers in the closet.Loved it!

Awesome location, clise to a lot of things, even Savanna, plenty of room for everyone

This beach home checked off everything on our list. We wanted to relax and enjoy fun times with our family in a non-overcrowded area, yet still close to everything. This home delivered! This gem is situated in a quiet neighborhood, where one can sit on the balcony and relax (the beautiful ocean views also help) without street noise or noisy neighbors. If the beach is more your style of relaxation, then just a few steps from the front door is the private neighborhood boardwalk that goes over a turtle pond (another restful and relaxing spot) and out to the beach. We fell in love with the beach in this area! The water was calm, with lots of shells to discover, and daily dolphin watching - all on a much less crowded beach than mid-beach or south beach! Aside from location, what distinguishes this rental from others? First, the communication between us and the owners (Tony and Shelly) was key! They kept in touch throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. Second, the house had everything one might need on an island vacay - beach chairs, a beach wagon, beach toys, and bikes! We enjoyed riding around the island on the bikes, sightseeing, shopping, and competing in online scavenger hunts. If we wanted to eat at any of the restaurants on the island, we were a short drive, ride, or walk away. If we wanted to stay in, the kitchen was well-stocked with all the necessary utensils. The consensus among our family is that this is our new vacation spot!

We visited Tybee Island for the first time for a family wedding, so we didn't truly know what to expect about the area. We frequent the gulf coast (30A area), so this was a definite change of scenery for us. We were not fans of the ocean area near this property. There were hundreds of dead/molting horseshoe crabs everywhere. It was difficult to find somewhere on the beach because of this. The crabs were even on the property and not on the beach. This could simply be a seasonal thing, but I'm not too sure. We did enjoy the walk over turtle pond each day. The house is dated but is very spacious and stocked well with essentials. Unfortunately, a stomach bug cycled through our family 24 hours after arrival, so the trip was not ideal but at no fault to the host. Overall, the host is very attentive and communicates well but we have learned that this area is not for us.

Location was very convenient, so much space, and communication with Shelley was great. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

We didn't realize that one of the days we were there was sibling day. The property was just as described and had anything you might need during your stay. Kitchen was well stocked along with bathrooms. Many amenities, including bikes and beach items. We look forward to another visit. The host was wonderful and checked to make sure we had everyting we needed.

This was way more than expected! The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with and very informative. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family had a great Thanksgiving holiday at Stella Maris! The house was well stocked and spacious. We were able to enjoy a couple of afternoons on the front porch, walks to the beach (beware of the burrs if you have a dog), and walks around a quiet neighborhood. When the weather was not great we had a large living room with plenty of seating for all to watch movies and football games. Savannah is 20 minutes away. Sherry was an excellent host and quickly responded to any questions I had. We would definitely return!

The four bedrooms were accommodating.

Initially, owner had somehow gotten that we weee coming. I contacted her because we were almost there & had not received the code to get in. She was very apologetic & the cleaner came and cleaned. I thought that I had made her aware that we were bringing dogs but apparently , I had not done that. The place is beautiful and well stocked with everything. Thanks for sharing your home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and spacious home. The ground floor apartment worked exceptionally well for our grandparents. My only suggestion would be to provide the location to the turtle pond. Luckily, we were able to go there on the morning of our departure. Thank you.
