Stayed Aug 30, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, I want to say Garden City Realty is wonderful! They are great to rent from, we’ve rented from them before, I’m sure we’ll do so again. The cottage at Wachesaw was very nice, great location, very quiet. The water heater was turned off, my husband found the breaker behind a picture on the wall. There wasn’t a couch, only chairs, and no living room lamps, only overhead lighting. The bathtub was missing the plug. Overall, it’s a beautiful property, very spacious. Very beautiful area for walks. However, when we arrived at the gate the first day, we showed the lady at the guard house our parking pass from Garden City Realty, no problem at all. When we went out and came back, there was a man at the guard house who was very rude! He told us Garden City Realty wasn’t allowed to give us those parking passes that we can’t get in with that, I told him it got us in earlier that day. I understand there are security protocols, but, he didn’t have to be so rude about it, he was very condescending, he didn’t want to hear anything we had to say. We’ve stayed at the cottages previously, no problems at all. Other than him, we had a pleasant stay.

The cottage lacked a normal seating arrangement in the living room. Impossible to watch tv. Kitchen did not ha a microwave and much glassware. Suggest that the cottage be furnished conventionally if it stays in the rental pool.
