Stayed Jul 3, 2025House was ok, clean enough inside, except the huge dust bunnies under the bed. Back porch was beautiful but the cushions were too dirty from bugs and birds too sit on and tables were filthy. Patio furniture further out was cleaner but the wood and cushions were so degraded didn’t really want to sit on them, not comfortable. The red chairs and fire out were great! The boat house was creepy, covered in spiders and webs. Side boat house was cleanish. Boat tie up was dangerous, in part bc of rough water but also bc the boards are sloped and when wet on top of mildew present, very slippery, 2 people did the splits unwillingly. Nails were protruding as well. Kitchen was not very well stocked with dishes and such compared to other places we’ve stayed. Even though we paid a cleaning fee, we had to do a lot of normal cleaning ourselves. Communication was good but she’s very particular, charges extra for many things. Wanted to have friends come by for the holiday but couldn’t so we had to pick them up at the marina dock and not bring them to the house, even for a meal. Never experienced that before either. Not sure I could recommend.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Host was very quick with communication. Neighbors & area were calm & quiet. House was nice, clean, air hocky table was definitely a hit, perfect temperature inside, listing was accurate. Relaxing place to stay !

Stayed Jul 4, 2024We had a great time. The only thing was the little bugs that was in the boat house and around it and at the main house and getting inside. They need bug zappers.

Stayed Jul 20, 2023Great communication, nice and roomy property with wonderful views, beds were cozy, great TV accomodations. So many areas to gather inside and out. Played lots of Fusbal and Air Hockey!! Loved the water toys provided, and the boathouse with AC was nice!! Unforunatly the lake was a bit low so it limited what we could do on the water...but we still had a great time! Would recommend for sure!

Stayed Jun 3, 2023We had a wonderful time!! Our children enjoyed the lake, and the kayaking and canoeing was a blast for all!! The air hockey was a favorite and the swing and rope at the boat house kept the children entertained.

Stayed Aug 18, 2022I don't normally write bad reviews, but this has been bothering me. The house is fine, it's older, but suitable for families and friends...a typical lakehouse. There's some mold in the showers and the dock is super rickety and dangerous for kids, whatever. The problem was that after our stay, the owner said she was charging us for damage to the boathouse doors from a DOG. We did not have a dog at this house. She sent pictures of the doors and said her cleaning lady and husband check before and after every guests stay. Judging from past reviews, we obviously aren't the first ones to deal with this. Thankfully, we had spoken with the neighbor everyday and he was able to confirm we did not have a dog. This was the only reason she didn't charge us. We literally walked in the boathouse one time, looked around and that was it. It wasn't very nice so we had no reason to hang out down there as the back porch is much nicer. We have stayed at many many rentals and never had an issue, so this was very disappointing. If you book here, just make sure to document literally everything.

Stayed Jul 29, 2022Overall great neighborhood, wonderful lake toys provided and a comfortable remodeled lake home. My family and I had an excellent time during our stay. The drought has hit TX hard, so the lake levels were surprisingly low and the water was warm. The house was super cool and comfy when we arrived which was so refreshing. My family and I we would recommend a stay here.

Stayed Jul 7, 2022My husband and I had three teenagers and one young adult with us on our trip. We had so much fun! First off, the lake house is really nice! The beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was really cold! It was so hot outside that we were so thankful that there were fans and air conditioning in the house! Thank you for that! We played a lot of foosball, a lot of games that were provided, did a lot of cooking indoors and on the grill outside, hung out a lot on the deck in the back. My family really enjoyed the lake! Love the paddle board! The kids had so much fun using it! They did s'mores at night using the grill! Yumm! The owner was very nice and answered all my texts. Thank you for letting us stay in your home! It was fun!
