Welcome to 16 Turtle Bay! This 3-bedroom, 3-bath end-unit townhome offers the best direct waterfront views in Turtle Bay on two sides! Renovated in 2020 and new fresh paint throughout, Fall '23. You'll directly overlook the Folly River and be steps away from the pool and the fishing dock, so you can enjoy Folly's famous sunsets or reel in the big catch. And, it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach or downtown Center Street for the best of everything the “Edge of America” has to offer. Bring your fishing pole, bikes, water toys, and a good beach read – and get ready to relax and play in Turtle Bay!

The main level of this bright, airy home is complete with an open concept kitchen, dining and living area, as well as a screened-in porch. Watch the fishermen, boats, and wildlife from any angle of the room. The unit also offers 3 bedrooms - each with their own bathroom – including a large master suite featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, walk-through closets, a master bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual sinks, and a private balcony perfect for outside relaxation. The downstairs garage and carport comfortably fit 2 cars with additional room for a golf cart (rentals available nearby).

Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping and, of course, a gorgeous beach - all just a 5-minute walk from this home. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking only 0.5 miles away. Of course, if you're ready to explore beyond Folly beach, we are located just a short 15-minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more.

There is something for everyone here… a beautiful beach, great restaurants and nightlife, a community pool, fishing, boating, historical sites, gardens, shopping, golf, kayaking, paddle boarding; the choices are limitless. We know that this is the perfect town home for your vacation!

Notes
The community pool is open April - October (exact dates vary depending on the weather) and the fishing dock is accessible year-round. Please note the HOA does not permit boats in the complex, or use of the dock for boating purposes. There is an electric grill at the property for you to use.
The building is elevated, so entry is via stairs (No elevators available).
EV Charger: Please don't share the charger with anyone staying elsewhere or visiting from another property. First-come, first-served; one vehicle at a time. Unplug when your session completes and coil the cable back on the holster. No extension cords or makeshift adapters. Use at your own risk; report any issues immediately.
No pets allowed due to HOA rules. Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are not allowed in properties unless specifically designated in writing as “pets considered” and approved by our office.

    Can’t beat the Sunsets and that marsh view!! Do yourself a favor and book a golf cart rental also! Perfect location from everything!

    Very comfortable and clean condo with easy access to everything Folly. The sunsets were gorgeous off the deck and dock. Every member of my family commented that they wanted to come back. We had a small issue with the door lock and called for assistance after hours. The property manager responded promptly and had a maintenance person come change out the lock that night. You can't ask for better response. They checked on us mid week to make sure everything was going well. Great property and service.

    The house was nice, clean and accommodating. It had an excellent view and the beds were very comfortable! However, the parking was a major problem. The garage and carport were very tight and impossible for 3 cars to fit without the last one sticking way out, and you couldn’t get out of the car on both sides because it was so narrow. The apartment was on the corner which made it even more difficult to get in and out of the garage. None of this was mentioned in the description. When we arrived we couldn’t get the garage door to open. We had to call and request help, but he didn’t know the code either. We finally got in the house and had to go downstairs and open the garage door manually to get our cars inside, but we couldn’t unload them from inside the garage because it was too narrow. It was extremely inconvenient! Other than the parking issue, the apartment was very quiet and nice, and close to restaurants and the beach. We were able to walk most places without too much trouble.

    TURTLE BAY 16 - Stayed here with my S.O. & another couple for a Charleston wedding ... Folly is complete for a getaway, so we didn't have to travel to town a lot ... Our group was low 60 year old's, so the stairs (15 into condo, 17 upstairs - lol) kept us on our toes at times ... Condo was in good shape and fairly well equipped in all ways ... It was very nice to have a garage to park in away from weather and away from public eye ... Area is secluded and a short walk from the main drag for restaurants, etc. ... About a 15 minute walk to Pier, all through neighborhoods, so quiet. We definitely enjoyed the stay and would definitely look to stay here again if / when we visit again ... THANKS for the hospitality!

    Everything was great, clean rooms and nice area. However, there were lots of gnats in the house and not enough extra cover. It turned cool while we were there and I'd rather sleep with an extra blanket than turn the heat up.

    We recently stayed here for a girls trip to Charleston. The condo was really nice. The rooms were big and comfortable and it was very clean. We did have an issue with the front door not locking and we communicated that issue but it didn’t get fixed during our stay. Other than that we loved everything about our stay!
