Truly Unique! 1938 Historic Beach House

Lovely home in a good locationOur family enjoyed our stay!

Accommodations were fine and as listed. Enjoyed the property. Bad weather was unfortunate but so it goes on the coast. Would recommend.

“Carolina Dreaming” was once again the perfect place for our family beach vacation. Ruth and Debi make check in/out simple. The kitchen provides everything to make sandwiches, meals, or snacks. Just like home! The location is the best of a quiet neighborhood and access to the beach, restaurants, shops, boardwalk, etc. Each year we rent a golf cart to make it a snap accessing the beach, BRiTT’S DONUTS, or whatever!! The abundant space/bedrooms/bathrooms and cable tv assured the comfort and convenience for each family member. Many thanks to Ruth and Debi for making our Carolina dreams come true!!

Fantastic house with great location. We enjoyed our stay with plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. Easy walking access to local fare and immediate drive access in either direction. The owner was very easy to communicate with throughout. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed from Monday to Friday and we had a great time! The house was spacious and in a convenient location to the beach, boardwalk, and restaurants. The host was very responsive in preparing for our trip. Definitely recommend and would stay again in the future!

House was perfect for our large family group. I love that we could easily walk to the beach. Communication was easy along with checking in and out. Great stay.

This is the best house so far we have stayed in in Carolina Beach. It is very pretty, was exceedingly clean and has lots of space. It is only a few minute-walk to the Boardwalk but the street is still quiet. We rented bikes and my children could get anywhere with bikes easily. There are lots of bike trails in Carolina Beach. There is also a small grocery store only 5 minutes away walking. You can walk down to the usual Thursday fireworks or just watch it from the house. Ruth and Debi were great! They are very nice and very responsive. Debi found my daughter’s engagement ring in the house and let us know right away. We really appreciate such great and conscientious hosts. Hope to come back next year!

What a great place to stay. Perfect location if you want to stay out of the hectic beach front traffic. The hosts are amazing. We will be back next year.

Great place and location

We had four families use this house during a baseball tournament in Wilmington. Easy walk to the boardwalk and the beach, excellent home with plenty of space for everyone. Would certainly stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property. I returned because of the quiet neighborhood, size of the house, parking, check-in process and proximity to everything we wanted. I was provided a number to call in case I needed something.

The property was in excellent condition and accommodated all 14 of us easily. Close enough to the boardwalk and beach, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet time. The Thursday night fireworks were very enjoyable. Also found nany neat shops.

My family and I made more happy memories during our third stay. The location, the house, and plenty of space were perfect. By renting a golf cart, we had easy access to the boardwalk, shops, entertainment, and the beach. Thanks, Ruth! Looking forward to future visits!!

The house was beautiful and close to the boardwalk. We really enjoyed the large deck out back after a long day at the beach. We grilled out and had a family cornhole championship with the provided boards. Debi was very reaponsive and kind. We would love to stay here again!

It was absolutely wonderful.! Thank you for renting us your home.We had a few bugs, but I explained water bugs and some spiders are common near the beach. Im certainly looking forward to renting again in '25.

The house was perfect and clean, with plenty of room for everyone. It was a quick, easy walk to the boardwalk area and the communication from the owners was above and beyond. All of us who stayed this time have bookmarked this house for future visits with family or friends again. Thank you!
