Tropical Oasis in Enchanted Forest Setting. Walking distance to EVERYTHING!

We absolutely loved Nancy's charming home which very much felt like home to us from the moment we walked in! Communication was brilliant, small problems solved immediately (with a smile) and that back patio - my goodness, what a perfect gem of a spot to eat, sip wine and relax. The beds are SO comfy, the rooftop patio great for a bit of sun-time and the kitchen well-stocked, well-labeled and spotless. Plus - you can't beat the location for proximity to everything. We felt very safe.

Lovely home. Great location to town and very walkable into town. Rooms are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet at night.

The house is beautiful and serene. It’s in a good location. Walking distance from the boardwalk and other areas where you find some pretty good places to shop and eat.

This house is beautiful, clean and close to everything! What a view! The host is very responsive and helpful in all things. This was a 10 out of 10 for us. Will stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful short (4 night) stay. The location is perfect for exploring Ajijic centro on foot. You can also get up to the hiking trails easily. The house is so nice with many different areas to sit and enjoy the view. We loved having coffee out on the second floor patio listening to and watching all the birds. The upper mirador was perfect for sunsets and for late night views.

What you saw in the photos is what you got. No misleading photo cropping. Host provided excellent communication. Great for 2 adult couples. We had no car and location was excellent for foot travels. Casa was very clean and well-appointed. High-end appliances, reverse osmosis for potable water great., Easy walking distance to almost anything you really need, including many fine eateries. Lots of clothes hangers available. Ceiling fans provided cooling during hot days. Keyless entry system worked great. This was our sixth visit to Ajijic. First to this casa.

Comfort, style, safety, modern, tasteful are all adjectives that describe this darling casa. One week not long enough! Excellent location, close to everything but quiet and tranquil

We spend most of our time up on the mirador or in the fountain garden below. The house is well appointed and nicely decorated. There is a built in water filter/purifier with a separate faucet for drinkable water at the kitchen sink so you don't have to worry about buying drinking water. The mirador on the roof is great with a screened in room and some sun lounges. There is even a bar area with a sink. The view of the mountains to the north and the lake to the south was very nice. We really enjoyed the ground level garden with beautiful plants and the fountain. The kitchen is modern and we found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own full bath. One bedroom has a nice balcony porch. The internet service was good. We watched some Netflix on the TV using our personal account. There was no problem with streaming. We made use of the washer and dryer so we didn't bring back a big load of dirty clothes on the plane. The location is great! It is very walkable to the Ajijic Plaza, the malecon, and many shops and restaurants. Just a few blocks away was R.J's Gluten Free Cafe. Everything is gluten free. Two in our party were gluten sensitive and celiac. I'm not a fan of gluten free foods because they are usually have a strange texture and are dry and gritty. I am not gluten free but everything there was delicious. I looked forward to our frequent trips to R.J.'s and always took away a bag of cookies. We will stay here again!
