Stayed Oct 6, 2025Everything was great. The house was clean, well appointed for our nights in. It was just what we needed for our trip to the Big Island, central to everything we wanted to do. Communication was great as well, even for some last minute changes to our trip plans. We will hopefully visit again!

Stayed Dec 25, 2024Great location and great set up. Our family had a great time staying in Kona and at the HulaHut. An easy walk to a black sands beach where you can watch the sunrise and sunsets, or walk to downtown for drinks and food. The host was easy to talk to and responded timely. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed Feb 18, 2024Great location! Close to downtown. Beautiful views. Fun to see whales from back windows. Open floor plan. Comfortable beds. Road noise a little busy but we got used to it. Great kitchen. Super fun to walk down lane to ocean's edge to see sunsets. Would come back again.

Stayed Oct 9, 2023I stayed here with my family for IM race week and it was the most amazing perfect homebase especially with three younger kids (ages 6,6, and 11). It is a great location close to town and right on the run course. The pool was a hit with the kids and so great to have, they all had fun playing in it for hours a day. They also loved running down the street to the lava rock beach at the end of the lane to watch the sunsets and the sunset views were also spectacular from the house. The house is a fun boho vibe and very homey feeling. Communications with Jill were easy and she was very responsive. It's a beautiful property. I would definitely stay here again!
