Pwll Gwaelod and Cwm-Yr-Eglwys beaches are both minutes away, both with breathtaking scenery offering the opportunity for tranquil days in perfect settings, and are almost unnoticed by the general public unless they leave the main route through the village, with there being a petrol station, two pubs a fish and chip shop, as well as a restaurant down at Pwll Gwaelod beach. Nearby Newport is a quirky seaside town steeped in history, with various shops, tea rooms and pubs and is also a great place to go boating.
