Only half a block from the Lafitte Greenway. and a 5-min driving distance to the city’s historic French Quarter, this 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house will have you living a VIP lifestyle for the duration of your stay in NOLA. The house features an in ground pool and high-end furniture and appliances.  We are steps from public tennis courts on the Lafitte Greenway and within 1.5 blocks of a Whole Foods market.



Our home is located in an urban environment within close proximity to a mix of uses, including residential, retail, commercial and light industrial.  Exterior noises may sometimes be heard in the house during normal business hours.

The Neighborhood:

This home is located just a half block from the Lafitte Greenway which puts you within a short walk/ride away from French Quarter’s jazz clubs, eateries, bars and bistros or the relaxing scenery of Bayou St. John, City Park and the rest of Mid-City. The famous Jazz Fest located at the Fairgrounds is within walking distance. Also in walking distance are numerous coffee shops, restaurants, and a Whole Foods market less than 2 blocks away. Staying at our home puts you right in the middle of all that New Orleans has to offer.



Getting Around:

The nearby lafitte greenway offers a walking/biking path directly into the French Quarter or into the heart of Mid-City. Our location is roughly a 7 minute uber/lyft from the french quarter or a 20 minute stroll down the greenway. RTA bus service is available nearby. To access the french quarter, walk one block down Rocheblave to Orleans Ave. Take the Leonidas-Treme #32 Bus direction Duncan Plaza and get off anywhere along basin Street. Basin is the edge of the french quarter. Alternatively you can walk up to Broad Street and take the #94 Bus direction Washington and S. Broad St. Ask the driver for a transfer ticket and get off on Canal Street. At canal Street switch to the picturesque Streetcar headed to the foot of Canal. Canal Street takes you into the heart of the CBD and Frenchquater. The streetcar will take you all the way down to Harrah's Casino and the Aquarium.     My parents, 2 kids, husband, and I were in NOLA for a wedding. This house was perfect! We were 1 minute from Whole Foods and Flour Moon Bagels. We could quickly get to anywhere in the city. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the kids loved the pool!

    This house was such a good size for our family of 7 adults and one 2 year old. We all had room to ourselves and room to get together. And 3 bathrooms is really special. The kitchen is big and well set up for cooking even though we did not use it for that purpose! The location is better than one might think. A 20 minute walk into the French Quarter along the Lafitte Byway is pretty short. We did morning walks every day along the Byway towards Bayou St. John and visited the pink playground with my granddaughter which she loved. The Whole Foods is a block or two away as well as a nice coffee shop, bagel shop and brewery. The neighborhood seemed a very good mix of old and new New Orleans. I highly recommend this house and would stay there again.

    This was a great home base for celebrating my 40th birthday - close enough to walk to some spots, but quiet. We also appreciated that it was 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, so that we had some privacy.
