The Neighborhood:

Situated on the outskirts of the Bywater, our little neighborhood is between the canal, St. Claude Ave, Poland Ave, and North Claiborne Ave. Lowpoint (coffee shop) is the anchor of the neighborhood and the other side of St. Claude Ave (two blocks away) is the heart of the Bywater. The Bywater is a historic neighborhood with colorful homes and lots of great bars and restaurants (Bacchanal, Parleaux, Vaughns, Bj's, etc.) - we recommend checking it out! If the weather is nice and you have comfortable shoes, walking from the Bywater --> Marigny --> French Quarter (stopping at bars and restaurants along the way!) is a great way to spend a day.



Getting Around:

+2 minute walk to Lowpoint, a great little neighborhood coffee shop.

+2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to some of our favorite bars in the Bywater, including Bacchanal, Parleaux Beer Lab, Vaughns, and BJ's Lounge.

+7 minute drive to Frenchman Street.

+10 minute drive to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

+12 minute drive to the Superdome.

+15 minute drive to the Earnest Memorial Convention Center.



Other Things to Note:

We have 24/7 on-site staff / security - we're in the small building with the CastleDay logo. Guests can stop by for complimentary extra supplies (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) or immediate assistance in the event of a lockout.



As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, quiet hours (10pm-8am) are enforced.



Per City of New Orleans regulations, this property is equipped with a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). We know you're a large group - just keep noise to a reasonable volume outside. This device also monitors occupancy and cigarette smoke.



For the security of our guests, we have external recording devices (security cameras) located by the front gate and back door. All cameras are exterior only.



For the privacy of our guests and our neighbors, drones are prohibited. Please note that our neighbor, the US Army Corps of Engineers, will take legal action in the event a drone flies onto their property.



Monday and Thursday morning pool cleaning and landscape maintenance: On Monday and Thursday mornings (between 7:30am-11:30am) our pool maintence tech comes to check the chemicals and clean the pool and our landscaper comes (every other Thursday) to do landscape maintenance.



Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk.

    The house hit all of our needs for our Team Building Offsite. The house gave us the opportunity to have our entire team stay in the house but have their own private bedrooms while enjoying the various amenities of the home like the pool, hot tub, basketball and the lawn for yoga. We were able to easily connect to the TVs throughout the house for our presentations and we loved all the various indoor and outdoor sitting areas. The house was great and the neighborhood is also a gem with some really great food and bars.

    It was an absolute pleasure to stay in this house. My family and I decided to come down to celebrate my birthday weekend and to attend my daughter’s basketball games at the Lakefront Arena. The property was absolutely amazing! Sam was also a great person to speak with regarding anything that was related to the house. My family and I will definitely be returning again during the summer to stay in the house and enjoy the pool and the outdoor amenities!
