Treasure Island (also called Reach Island) is just south of Allyn, WA. Only 1 hour 20 min from Seattle, 50 minutes from Tacoma, and 1 hour 10 min from SeaTac Airport.

ABOUT TREASURE ISLAND RETREAT ~~
Treasure Island Retreat offers three bedrooms plus a loft, and three bathrooms (one shower) over 3 levels. The house sleeps 10, but 8 adults max please. For larger groups, it's $10/person/night beyond 6 guests (including children).

Main Floor ~ The main floor has a large entry, which opens to a beautiful living room featuring three walls of windows capturing the stunning water view. Living room has plenty of comfortable seating for your group. The dining area not only has amazing views, but a large dining table seating 8 comfortably. The kitchen is off the dining and living area and has a nice sized island with 3 stools. Included are plenty of dishes, serving ware and cooking supplies for all the feasts you can cook up. Of course, there is a propane BBQ outside on the patio as well. Laundry room, powder room, and access to the wrap around deck are also on the main floor.

Bottom Floor ~ The lower floor has three bedrooms, a living area, a remodeled bathroom with gorgeous shower (only shower in house), and access to the lower patio. Two bedrooms have queen beds and TV’s and perfect water views. The third bedroom has a bunk bed, twin bed, and modified twin bed in the closet (a bit shorter than a twin). There is also a living area downstairs – perfect for the kids to hang out and play games or watch TV.

Top Floor ~ The upstairs loft (3rd, top floor) overlooks the downstairs. It has yet another powder room. There is a little bit of play space, plus a “fort” style queen floor mattress with curtains for privacy.
Stay connected utilizing the high speed WiFi connection. The four TV’s have YouTubeTV (live TV, like cable), or stream your own content over the apps.

ABOUT THE WATER ~~
Just look through our listing photos to start imagining all the fun and memories you will make with your family and friends! From the wrap around deck to the expansive patio and deck at the water’s edge, to the beach, to the kayaks, to the swim deck in the water . . . the fun just doesn’t end!
The huge deck and patio at the water will provide plenty of space and relaxation. There are tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and views, views, views! You can look across the water to and to the south to see Fair Harbor Marina.
Go for a pleasure ride on a kayak – at least 5 are provided along with some water toys.
Paddle a short way across to explore the boats and dock. Go to the Fair Harbor Store (open in summer) for some ice cream, snacks, or a morning latte.
The beach provides hours of fun just exploring the shells, rocks and wildlife. You might even be able to get some clams.
As the water warms in summer, take a swim out to the swim deck. It’s so refreshing! Utilize the outdoor shower to rinse off that sand and salt water.
Several life vests are provided, but if you have non-swimmers, please bring your own.

OTHER THINGS TO DO OUTSIDE ~~
Newly available - hot tub! There is a nominal fee for upkeep/heating of the hot tub, regardless of use.
In the back with a water view is a large firepit (provide your own firewood please) where you can watch the sunset and roast smores. Please be aware of any potential state or county burn bans in summer.
The front of the house has a play structure for the little ones, a basketball hoop, and even an outdoor ping pong table!
Treasure Island Drive loops around the whole island, and at just 1.5 miles, it’s the perfect walk for people of all ages to explore. Or, walk across the 1-lane bridge for another vantage point of the water and the house.
This location is also a good jumping off point to visit Olympic National Rainforest Park (less than 2 hours to Port Angeles at the north end of the peninsula).
We are certain you will have a relaxing vacation and will want to return soon to Treasure Island Retreat!

We were disappointed with our Thanksgiving stay at this rental. Several issues made the experience far from relaxing. The night of arrival was ruined because hot tub water temperature was too low and it took until the next morning to heat up. Stairs to the beach that are partially covered in water during high tide become extremely slippery and dangerous during the low tide, so getting to the beach was a challenge. The showers do not provide enough hot water for multiple guests. By the second person, the water was already cold. Aside of these things, on Saturday morning of Thanksgiving weekend, someone came to clean the yard at around 9:30 am. They blew leaves on the balcony right outside the bedroom windows downstairs, which woke us up and felt intrusive. Seeing someone walking past the windows was startling and unpleasant. The grill that we were told to use was not clean nor adequately functional. That said, house itself is nice and probably works the best during the summer time. However, for us, the combination of safety concerns, lack of privacy, and basic amenities not working properly made this holiday visit a disappointment.

A wonderful beach-front experience in a beautiful home! We were greeted by deer upon arrival and enjoyed the paddle board and the liveliness of the sea. The baby gates were a great touch, making it easy to block off stairs when needed. We loved digging clams for dinner — such a fun experience! I also recommend messaging the property manager for guidance on licenses and crabbing regulations; she was helpful when we connected.I did experience a fall on the entry stairs, which made me less able to enjoy all the amenities, and there was a water shutoff notice for the island where I didn’t hear back on my follow-up questions. Neither issue ruined the trip, but both explain why my rating isn't 10/10.

We loved our stay! The house is great! The outdoor space is amazing. We loved using the kayaks. It was nice to be not too far from a grocery store but still feel like we weren’t in the hustle and bustle of a city.

They had lots of fans so when it gets hot you dont have to worry. Life jackets to fit everyone. Kayaks were a bit old but still good and usable. Lots of sea life to look at. Bioluminescent algae at night right in the water at the house.

We loved the property and the location. Very clean with wonderful views of the water. Really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. A real drawback however was having just one shower to share for our party of 7. Thanks for great service and quick response to answer any questions!

Did not disappoint. Worth every penny! The location is spectacular, and with the baby seals in the canal, we had such a wonderful time every day we swam, kayak, paddleboard, eight on every single one of the patio levels. The hot tub and the trees is divine, and this place is perfectly landscaped. The interior is artful and authentic, and the owner has included so much charm in the property. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely delightful time at this house. We would love to come back, and found it to be delightfully far above expectations. The team was very communicative and easy to work with. We had absolutely no problems and plenty of information to get us through. The chill waterfront and fire pit were exactly what our group was looking for. Cannot recommend this enough! Definitely enjoyed our time.

Great indoor and outdoor space. The rain didn't stop us from having fun. We found warming up in the hot tub and having a small bonfire over the long weekend was a perfect way to chill as a family. Walking the island was a joy and the views from every floor and every bedroom were spectacular and the layout made a great place for privacy and coming together. Great service from the property management just made it that much better. Thanks for the stay!

Pictures do not do this home justice. The home was absolutely amazing. So spacious and so much to do. We enjoyed that there were so many options to separate and enjoy our own personal space. The property manager communicated all of the instructions perfectly. We will definitely return for a longer stay next summer!

This home worked very well for our family stay. The setting is private and beautiful. We docked our boat at Fair Harbor Marina which is just across the inlet and so convenient for taking short trips around south Puget Sound including Jarrell's Cove and McMicken Island. We all enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, and the hot tub. The bunk bed room worked great for the kids. The kitchen had what we needed but could use a bit of a fresh-up. The laundry was great for keeping up with washing all the towels. This is really a fun place place for families to gather.

Nine people, ages 11-65, spent three nights here. The layout and placement of every single thing is very well thought out. House is spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. Property managers were a delight to work with. The neighborhood is quiet. We had seals visit the swim dock every evening and a doe and her fawn visited on our last morning. Every member of our family enjoyed our time there. No need to go do or see anything else. This is the perfect get-away. Truly a treasure. We will be repeat renters.

We spent our 10 day family vacation (3 adults, 6 children ages 1-10) at this amazing home on Treasure Island. The layout was perfect, mattresses comfortable, view lovely, neighbors friendly, and communication with the property manager professional. The house was very clean upon arrival, except for the only shower in the house— it needed a scrub down but I figured the previous tenants were extra messy and housekeeping simply didn’t have time. I didn’t mind cleaning it myself as every other aspect of this home was just perfect. We enjoyed taking one or two walks a day around the island and by the end of our time, knew many of the neighbors, their pets, and the resident deer. Orca even swam past the island on one day, though we missed it! It was fun to go to the local town of Allyn and see the sea lions and seals on the pier. Try Peace, Love and Donuts in Allyn! We traveled to Port Townsend for a whale watching tour, Point Wilson lighthouse and Fort Worden, Olympia for the capitol buildings and the children’s museum, Bremerton for the naval museums and battleship, and Seattle for the Museum of Flight. We also really enjoyed kayaking (though you have to watch the timetables or you hardly have any water). We highly recommend this home. Thank you, Treasure Island!!
