The huge deck and patio at the water will provide plenty of space and relaxation. There are tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and views, views, views! You can look across the water to and to the south to see Fair Harbor Marina.

The beach provides hours of fun just exploring the shells, rocks and wildlife. You might even be able to get some clams.
As the water warms in summer, take a swim out to the swim deck. It’s so refreshing! Utilize the outdoor shower to rinse off that sand and salt water.

Great place, unbelievable views, well stocked kitchen, perfect check-in experience and communication with the property manager. This is a fantastic property in a fairly central location to both Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle. Would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to visit family!
Lots of activities for everyone. The hot tub was probably the biggest hit, but getting out on kayaks was lots of fun. It was a nice getaway for the entire family.
Couldn’t be more happy with this property. Amazing views, amenities, space, ease of access to local businesses. We loved all aspects of this trip & the property has our seal of approval. This is a definite YES if you’re looking at this properties and thinking “WOW, that looks like a great place to relax & enjoy some down time with friend and/or family!”
My family had a wonderful time on Treasure Island. The house is well-stocked with the essentials and the beds are comfy. Lots of room indoors for fun and games, and outdoors for water views and seal watching. The selection of kayaks was perfect and each of us found our faves. The whole family circled the island by kayak, which was a point of pride for this out of shape 60 yo first-timer. Lots to see and do or just kick back in this gorgeous island setting. There is quite a swing between low and high tide but it's just a matter of timing. The path to the beach is down two levels of terraced slate walkways so probably not recommended for those with mobility issues, otherwise it's a definite treasure, on Treasure Island.
The house was comfortable for our group, albeit a little difficult to have only one shower for 6 of us. But the kitchen was well-stocked and the living room comfy for lounging & hanging out. But mainly, it was the kayaks, floating toys, and the ping pong that made it so fun for us all.
Lovely, relaxing place to stay w family. The island is a quiet, tight knit community. Plenty of water toys, hot tub, games, and little kids play area. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and the views are spectacular. Property mgr was very responsive. We hope to come back again next year.
We loved our stay here! Amazing water views with a magical garden (deers came through). We were two families with 4 kids total. It was the perfect long weekend getaway. Peaceful, comfortable house and the decks were so pleasant. Enjoyed kayaking a couple of times a day. The location on Puget Sound with the tides going in and out is something. We worked around the one shower situation. We would love to visit again.
Everything was good the hot tub would have been a plus!!!
We stayed at the Treasure Island Retreat as it provided fairly quick access to Oysterfest in Shelton, and it was a fantastic place to stay. Great house with tons of space for 9 people. The outdoor spaces were awesome - especially the deck/patio overlooking the water. They provided paddleboards and kayaks which we loved using. The firepit made for cozy evenings and the fully functional kitchen and grill made it easy to prepare meals. I would go back in a heartbeat as I think this house would make a wonderful getaway any time of year.
4 generations gathered to celebrate a 90th birthday. The house was perfect. Something to do for all ages. Sitting on the deck enjoying the view, kayaking or playing on the outdoor playset, everybody was happy. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. Great house!
What a great property for a weekend getaway! Kayaking and seal watching were our favorite activities. Both the house and outside spaces were charming. We will definitely return!
The property has a lot of potential just needs a few improvements. The exterior needs a good decluttering and landscaping maintenance. We happened to be there for some hot days and a screen is truly needed on sliding door to kitchen and above the kitchen sink to allow a cross breeze without it the bees kept coming into the home. Understand renters are hard on screen doors but without doors open it would be 85 plus degrees. The home did have everything we needed and more. The one room in the basement did seem to have a moisture odor. Guess they are working on it with the machine in that room. Would easily return next summer.
I think my 3-year-old daughter said it best when she ran around shouting “It’s magical!” The house is super homey and comfortable with beautiful water views at every turn. The grounds are amazing with flower lined stone paths taking you to a pirate-y play-structure, a fire pit with tons of seating and, of course, down to the water-front patio and beach. We kayaked, we seal-watched, we beach-combed, we grilled, we played basketball, and so much more. We had a truly magical time.
This was our first trip to Washington. There was 5 of us. My husband and I, our adult children 22 &19 and our youngest 12 years old. Our daughter (22) had a track meet in Seattle and we wanted to make a vacation out of our stay. We purposely looked for a home out of the hustle and bustle of the city and this did not disappoint. Seattle was about an hour and a half drive but was totally worth it. Coming from the 90 plus degree weather to the 50’s/60’s was refreshing. We all enjoyed kayaking the most. Highly recommended doing it at high tide as that seems to be when the oh so curious seals come out. So fun! FYI: kayaking before high tide you will load up from the beach…if you finish kayaking at high tide you unload directly on the steps of the patio!! Bring extra shoes. Lol!! Other than kayaking the house is loaded with card games, board games, ping pong table (in the front yard) and availability to watch TV. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and more to spare. Clean home. I did felt the need to contact the house manager via email (nothing urgent or alarming) but received a quick response. The neighborhood is nice and quite and seemed very safe!! Everyone we encountered was very friendly!! While staying at the home I highly recommend taking a drive into Gig Harbor to have breakfast at the Devoted Kiss. AAAAHHMAZING food! We ate there 3 days. I highly recommend this beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay.
