Tranquil Lake LBJ getaway! No boat traffic. Swim, Kayak, SUP & Fish in Peace!

This home is very nice....it's been updated and has an enormous kitchen with a 15' counter for prepping on one side and stools on the opposite one. Large and comfy sectional sofa in living room along with a pool table, as well as a very large Smart TV. Many windows with a gorgeous view of the back yard, river and the many birds and turtles that live on it. Additionally there is a massive back porch with plenty of seating, fire place, grills for the perfect outdoor hangout. We enjoyed watching the geese, ducks, cranes, and dozens of other birds as they went about their days, honking and quacking and chirping. If quiet is what you crave, then it is here in abundance and you will not be disappointed in this lovely home.

I recently had the chance to stay at the Tranquil Lake LBJ getaway, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was exactly as advertised, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. The views of the lake were beautiful, and the atmosphere made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.The amenities were excellent, and everything we needed was readily available. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a comfortable base for time on the water, this place really delivers. The host was also responsive and easy to work with, which made the entire process smooth.

Greg was easy to communicate with and made the check in/out process easy.

Everything about our stay was great! Clean, well appointed house, great lakefront property with kayaks and SUPs that we had a blast on. The host stayed in contact and was easy to get a hold of when we had a question. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay! Incredibly relaxing. It is close to the water where you can watch activities from the porch. Great swimming, fishing. This house is equipped to the max. There is not much you need to bring they have it all! WE would return in a heart beat! Thank you for all you did to create a meaningful experience for our family.

The house, the location, the activities & amenities were all perfect for our family lake vacation. The house was beautiful & the lake access was great! We had so much fun kayaking and fishing. What also stood out was Greg - excellent host with much appreciated communication!

We had a family gathering and this property was perfect. Lots of living space and a great porch overlooking a quiet section of the water. The host was very responsive and easy to work with.

On the Colorado River which I preferred

I was planning a getaway for a girlfriend's birthday and her specific requests were to be surrounded by nothing but nature & water activities (kayaking or paddle boarding). As I searched, Greg's property had everything we were looking for. He was very communicative the entire time making sure we were ok and had all we needed. The property was spacious & clean, and fully stocked in the kitchen and all rooms. There was direct lake access and once on the water, you're able to paddle out to beautiful scenery. Greg requested to be notified of any issues, which I did, and he noted & appreciated them. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet relaxing space with lots of amenities and an excellent host!

The property is perfect for family and friends. The house is inviting and provides plenty of entertainment for all ages. The view is amazing. The host was helpful and attentive. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience.

We booked a last minute hill country getaway to this property and are so glad we did. The property is spacious and right next to the water. We kayaked and fished at the house and also drove 7 minutes to Inks Lake several times to hike and fish. Our boys, ages 10, 7, and 3.5, loved being out in nature and also loved playing pool and watching football in the recliners the little time we spent indoors.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed and the kids loved canoeing right off the dock. We hope to be back!

The house is very roomy and comfortable. The view from the Dining Room was beautiful and the deer are around at night. We will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful stay. So peaceful and quiet. The owner was quick to respond. Lots of wild life. Will definitely book again.

Quiet no boats allowed

This house had everything we needed for a weekend away with our family. It’s a small drive from town and had everything we needed. The house has direct access to the river which had kayaks and paddle boards! We had the most fun there with our kids. There was everything we needed there. The rooms were great and even had laundry that made it easier for a family with kids. Greg was great at communicating and he let us know what we had to do for checkin and checkout. The 20 deers we saw day and night was a plus for our kids! Beautiful house ❤️

This house was very nice. Open concept with huge bar with barstools and a dining table that seats 8. Windows all along the back of the house so you can enjoy the view. Huge covered patio with outdoor fireplace and another section with a firepit - both with lots of seating. Kayaks and paddleboards available for use which we did and had a great time. Brand new appliances in the kitchen (had to figure out the induction range) but came with good instructions. Has a pool table and I'm still as bad as I was in college. ha ha The host was very responsive and took good care of us. We'll definitely be back with the rest of the family!

Property was great! House was clean and water was fun. Lots of waterfowl and birds to see!

A wonderful weekend away at the lake. Beautiful and clean house. Lots of amenities in the kitchen. Teens enjoyed the SUPs and pool table. Ok parents did too. Communication with the owner was spot on. Any question I had Greg was immediate to respond and solve.

Property was nice and roomy. Kitchen was well stocked and fully functional! Property manager was responsive and attentive! Family had a nice stay!
