Stayed Apr 25, 2025Our family gathered at Cypress Hideaway for a weekend to celebrate our growing family. It was the perfect location for everyone coming from everywhere from Waco to San Antonio.The layout of the house was perfect, the kids loved the bunk room, everyone had their own bathroom, the pool and entire outdoor area was amazing. We had such a lovely time and made beautiful memories. Thank you very much for making it all possible!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our party consisted of 5 multi-generational families, 5 boomers, 6 millennial parents and 10 children ranging in age from 15 months to 17 years. This was the second year we've rented Cypress Hideaway and the third year working with Front Desk Vacation Rentals. Front Desk provides fabulous service. We had a slight problem with ceiling fans and Jon Nickowski was there in a flash checking things out for us. The house, pool and dock kept everyone busy. We really like the first floor shaded area for arts and craft activities, plus ping pong and watching televised sports. We highly recommend Cypress Hideaway and Front Desk Vacation Rentals.

Stayed Mar 29, 2024The house is beautiful. Very clean, lots of room for 2 families and plenty of activities for the kids. I had a few questions when we first arrived but Jon was quick to respond and super helpful. Very clean and the elevator was so helpful for our luggage and the HEB delivery. The kitchen was well stocked and had the basics that every vrbo home should have. We all had a fun, relaxing long weekend and look forward to the next time we're able to visit LBJ. Definitely recommending this house to family and friends.

Cypress Hideaway is the perfect home-away-from-home for 3-4 families. Large open spaces. Plenty of conversation spots both in and outside. Huge, covered play area under the house is especially welcome in Texas' sweltering summers. The 2 large tables in the shaded area provided the perfect location for this year’s craft (painting van Gogh's Starry Night and Monet's water lilies.) All the kids (and grandma) loved jumping off the dock and the slide. The lake water at this house is clean and deep. Jon and his staff are a joy to work with. The house is pristine. The kitchen well stocked. Book it, Dan-O!
