We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the river right behind the property. We got a visit from a herd of elks in the front and backyard which was truly a treat. The property was clean and cozy.

We loved our stay! It was super homey and we immediately felt at home. The property sat right on the Yellowstone Rive and is very peaceful.

Host was extremely accommodating. It is a great home with an amazing location. View of mountains in front and back of home. We had some elk come in the yard which was so cool to watch. I would definitely come back.

Perfect stay! Sandie, the host, was awesome!! Very friendly and helpful. She made suggestions on where to eat, etc. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need! The beds were very comfortable.

Property was amazing! Several four legged visitors, which was very cool! House was well stocked with everything we needed and the location close to the entrance to the park was perfect for our trip!

We stayed 3 nights and could easily have stayed longer. The home is comfortable in every way. Comfortable beds, very clean, comfortable couches, well stocked, great water pressure, peaceful setting. Of course, the backyard and river view is priceless. One evening 11 elks joined us. Very fun to watch. The owner graciously reached out to let us know a black bear was spotted on the yard so we’d be in the lookout. We did not see a bear, but would have been fun to observe. We used the house as a home base for Paradise Valley and the eastern part of the Park. We first rented a cabin at the Northeast Entrance so used that as a base for the Lamar Valley and Beartooth Highway. The stays were complimentary. We enjoyed both immensely. Highly recommend.

Awesome house and host! Very comfortable and pleasant home. Very well equipped including unexpected extras such as folding chairs and ice chest to take into the park. Quiet and beautiful location. We enjoyed the riverside patio and the wildlife that meandered through everyday. Sandy is a great host, very attentive and replies in a timely manner. Highly recommend this home and host.

The home's location on the river and just outside of town was perfect. It had everything we needed for fun family adventures. We saw elk in the yard several times. My family would be excited to stay here again.

We loved our stay here! The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. Sandy stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s even a basketball hoop out front that our youngest son enjoyed. Elk love it here too. The deck overlooking the River was so peaceful! Beds were comfy - and it was nice to have the second half-bath. Close to Gardiner and the north entrance to Yellowstone. Loved it here! Also, we didn’t use them but you should know they even had a cooler, fishing poles, and camping chairs for use. So great.P.S. Only suggestion would be to update the outdoor & living room furniture :)

We had an awesome stay at this home. I think it is now one of my favorite places in the world. We stayed for a week with our family of five. It fit us perfectly and was a great base for spending days in Yellowstone. The house was quiet and we enjoyed watching elk and owls. I spend a little bit of everyday enjoying the river. I could sit right on the shore and take in the river and mountains. The home included a lot of basics; which was amazing since we flew in and didn’t have room to bring some other things we normally would when staying at a rental. The host was phenomenal at answering questions and checking in on us to make sure everything was up to par. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay.

We loved our stay in Gardiner. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed watching the elk come through the yard every day. This property is in the perfect location to visit Yellowstone.

Wonderful property and superb location. On the bank of the Yellowstone River and park property was directly across the river with a great view of 11,000’ high Electric Peak. Five minutes to the north entrance of Yellowstone NP with none of the congestion of West Yellowstone.

Home was meticulously clean and stocked with everything we needed. Waking up to the view of mountains and the river was amazing. We ventured into the park each day of our stay and it was a great location to do that and to check out the town of Gardiner. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful property with a great view every morning!!! Close to Yellowstone and close to town. If you are looking to escape from your phone this is the place to go. Didn’t want to leave. Owner is very nice stayed in contact with us. We had no issues with anything. Got my wife and me thinking about moving up to Montana!!! I probably should have let my wife upload her photos onto here. I didn’t take as many photos as she did lol!!!

Sandy’s home is the perfect location for exploring Yellowstone National Park! With its close proximity the home is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the park. The backyard overlooking the water was one of our favorites to start and end our day and Sandy made sure the home was well stocked with all of the essentials. The fans in the bedrooms were great and the A/C unit in the living room cooled down the house during the hottest part of the days as we staying in June. Would recommend and stay again in the future.

This house was perfect. It’s actually even better in person. So clean and sandy the owner was great to deal with. Will definitely stay there again if we come back to Yellowstone. Elk in the yard every day.

We needed a base camp for our family of sibling adults taking a photo expedition in Yellowstone. Sandy's place couldn't have been more perfect. It is clean and well-cared for, beautiful, and peaceful. We loved the gazebo on the river's edge. We enjoyed the elk that came and grazed in the yard. Sandy is so accommodating and friendly. She gives Montanans a great reputation. We will stay again.

Our family of four had a WONDERFUL stay at Sandy’s house on the Yellowstone River. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was so close to downtown Gardiner, the grocery store and the Northwest gate to Yellowstone. We were in the park daily and the house was the perfect place to relax in the evenings. The park is in your backyard and makes a beautiful backdrop for the house. Thank you Sandy for a great stay!!

This is a lovely house in which I felt very much at home. It is perfectly positioned just off the highway a couple of miles out of Gardiner in a quiet area with only a few other houses. Parking is right outside the front door. The furniture is in excellent condition (as are all the appliances) and very comfortable, with good lighting. Everything is very clean. Sandy's photographs (particularly of the wolf) are stunning. Immediately outside the house is a patio with a table and comfortable chairs, and at the bottom of the yard and next to the river is another larger covered seating area with every type of chair you can think of. I found my favourite and it's a great place to sit and relax after a busy day in Yellowstone. The yard is also enjoyed by the local wildlife; I had an elk invasion, owls and plentiful bats to keep me comfortable. I would be happy to rent this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was an ideal location for entering the park. We never had more than 2 cars ahead of us to get in the park. The couch and bed were comfortable and so relaxing after a long day in the park. The kitchen was well stocked with staples which made it so easy for simple meals at home. We would definitely stay here again.

We saw elk every day in the yard. House was well stocked with plenty of room for everyone. Being on the river was just icing on the cake.

Took a family trip to Yellowstone with 2 kids parents and grandparents. Sandy’s place was great. Well appointed and comfortable and the deck over the river was beautiful! Lots of elk stopping by in the evening which was super fun. Sandy was a great host and we would highly recommend her house!
