Tranquil 3-bedroom house in Fort Lauderdale with WiFi and AC

Poor communication upon arrival was horrible. The home itself was nice but the home needs a lot of TLC the oven doesn’t work the gas on the stove almost killed us it doesn’t work at all, kitchen faucet was leaking. The day bed in the living room YUCK needs to be replaced asap all the leather is crumbling apart, the sheet on top of it looks like an animal lives on it. Washer and dryer doesn’t work properly. Upstairs bedroom TV doesn’t work. The bed in one of the room is broken it tilts to the side. No matching towels in the home. No toilet paper. No cleaning supplies to clean home even the broom was broken in half smh.

If I could rate this property -5 stars, I would.The moment we walked in, the house reeked of cigarette smoke. The odor was overwhelming and clearly embedded throughout the home. There were 15–20 air fresheners placed everywhere in an obvious attempt to mask the smell, which only made it worse. The smoke smell permeated every room, furniture, and fabric. I have young children and would never expose them to this.When I contacted the host immediately, he became argumentative and dismissive, accusing me of exaggerating and claiming he has a device that “detects smoke.” That is irrelevant — the property already smelled strongly of old cigarette smoke. We were so uncomfortable that we left within 40 minutes of arrival and did not stay even one night.The home was filthy and poorly maintained. There were cigarette burn holes in the furniture, ashtrays present, stained carpets upstairs, dirty and damaged walls, and a kitchen sink that sprayed water outside of the basin. The beds felt unclean and raised concerns about possible bedbugs. This property is clearly not properly inspected or maintained. I strongly advise others to avoid it.
