A very traditional village stone house over 100 years old just restored now to a brand new from its originalglory, in one of the most beautiful and peaceful village of Paphos, Kathikas. Just a short walk to the village square with its local famous tavern's and traditional restaurants, this would be ideal for a couple or family to relax and enjoy the Village lifestyle. Only 22kms from Paphos and 14kms from Latchi, has a long history as a resting place for merchants travelling between the two towns, and is halfway between the only road that connects the old and new roads between Paphos and Polis.
The house has a beautiful square in the middle for relaxing times, has also two fire places, three bedroom, living room kitchen area, three bathrooms and two showers.

The village of Kathikas is situated 22 km from the town of Paphos, 14 km from Latchi and 12 km from Coral Bay. Kathikas sits at an elevation of 645 metres above sea level, which provides it with a good climate in the summer months. This is wine country and the area is famous for its vineyards and the excellent quality of its grapes. Several of the wineries welcome visitors.

Kathikas is a village full of life, energy and hospitality but still retains an old world character with its stone houses and the traditional way of life is much in evidence. The focal point of the village is the square where the main church “Panayia Evangelistria” with its beautiful murals is located. Surrounding the square are coffee shops and tavernas with constantly fresh vegetables, grilled dishes and homemade desserts. Apart from the main church the village also has two small chapels.

There are a couple of shops in the village selling basic groceries and household cleaning items, and a new bakery recently opened in the village of Stroumbi which is about a six-minute drive away. A hairdressing salon sits just off the village square.

The nearest doctors are in Peyia Village (10 minutes) and the closest hospital is in Polis (12 minutes).

The Akamas Peninsula, Lara Bay (turtle hatchery), Polis and the Baths of Aphrodite are all easily accessible from Kathikas, as is the Tsadha Golf Course which is approximately a 15-minute drive from the village.

Nearest main attractions are the natural Avakas Gorge and Peyia Zoo

The agricultural produce of the area are cereals, legumes, almonds, carob beans, fruit etc. The main product though, is grapes - mostly black, white and sultana grapes. There are other varieties as well, but in smaller quantities. In the old days all the villages were equipped with grape-presses and the villagers produced some quite good wines
