Town of Fenwick island home on the water with dock & central A/C - dogs OK

I would stay here again and really enjoyed our time at Fenwick. There's a wagon in the sand room on the ground floor that thank goodness was there.There is a whole house audio system that will probably spark curiosity. I don't think it's intended to be used by guests renting the place though; so just tell kids to ignore the knobs that turn and appear to do nothing but likely control the in-ceiling speakers in the room with the knob.Dishwasher was weird, I had problems with it and wrote the property manager the owner uses and sent some photos but they didn't say if they were going to do anything. Then one morning when my spouse tried to start the wash it worked and didn't turn itself off. I think there was a drainage issue or something. There's an elevator. It can get into a weird state if one of the inner doors doesn't clasp closed all the way, I discouraged use of the elevator but the novelty of an elevator IN A HOUSE is too much for a 10yo to pass up. Because the kitchen is on the top floor and lugging groceries up flights of stars is awful I was delighted it was there. When we first arrived it was fantastic too.Instacart can find the house fine usually. We had an order that wound up going nowhere but did it again the next morning no problem. We did use the kitchen there and it worked great other than the dishwasher being difficult.We AirPlay'ed Jackbox Games to the TV upstairs often. I did sign-in to the PS5 via guest login and was able to stream a game.

The space was very clean, and comfortable enough for six adults and two babies. The location is quiet and calm but close enough to activities. The outdoor amenities of the house (firepit, decks, outdoor shower) are exceptionally nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

Absolutely loved the home and enjoyed our time there. The kitchen and living room setup was perfect. Spent a ton of time there or just outside on the deck. Our small dog loved sitting in the sun on the deck, looking out over the water. Can't wait to visit again and book this beautiful home. Excellentante!

We had a great long weekend stay at this wonderful home. Our family enjoyed it very much. Walking distance to the beach and plenty to do at the home including use of kayaks.

Amazing home with everything we needed and wanted.

This is an amazing property on a great quiet location near the beach. For those looking for accessibility, there is one step to the door and the door is raised above the ground entry so mobility scooter wasn't able to get in without being lifted. The property was cleaned very basically, and the floors were dirty upon our arrival. We had an issue with the air conditioning during our stay and Vacasa was quick to help us get it fixed. The wifi was Ok for normal use but for remote working it sometimes lagged. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Good size for an our family. 3 1/2 bathrooms terrific. Elevator is a godsend.

Lots of dogs hair on floors and in the master bed. Washing machine latch was broken so we could not do laundry . The outside shower was green and slimey. There was 2.5 rolls of toilet paper for 3 5 bathrooms not quite enough livingroom furniture for 5 of the 6 people that came let alone 12 which its supposed to accommodate

This house was a great find. Being big Harry Potter fans, we took to calling it the Harry Potter House as the unique design has a HP feel to it. Also, the house is deceiving big and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice. We had brought an air mattress but discovered we didn't need it as there is a pull out sofa. This worked well for my son (one of two guys with 8 girls). The house was clean and had everything we needed. One recommendation... being music lovers, we would have loved to take advantage of the stereo system but we could not figure it out. Instructions on how to connect to system would have been great. This didn't affect how we felt about the house or our rating though. We will definitely keep this house in mind for next summer.

This property was perfectly suited for our group; a bunch of old guys, sitting around a fire, talking about nothing. Also very close to activities all over the Ocean City and Delaware beaches, if you are into that sort of thing. Great for families and groups of any kind! I recommend this to any group looking for an affordable get away.
