Great house & property - would stay there again. It was girl's weekend - we enjoyed a whole day staying at the house & using the hot tub & pool. There was an issue with the back porch fans & they sent a maintenance guy right away & fixed them! My only suggestion would be to bring your own shampoo, condition & bath soap as they ones provided are very small.

Kitchen is well equipped better than mostBunkbeds creak a lot if sleeper moves or turns over- owner was exceptionally nice and accommodating

Great house with a beautifully stocked kitchen: waffle maker, slow cooker, excellent pans, sharp knives!, and a stocked spice cabinet. There was plenty of room for our 6 adults to spread out in the living room and enough seating at the table for us to eat a meal together. The house had puzzles and games as well. Everything was clean and organized. We had great communication from booking to departure with our host. Great access to Hill Country favorites like LBJ Ranch, Fredericksburg, and the Vanishing Texas River Cruise on Lake Buchanan. We spent a couple days of our trip just enjoying the house and each other's company. Highly recommend!

The home is absolutely perfect for hosting a large family or group of friends. A pool, jacuzzi, access to the lake, game room and comfy beds make this a great place to stay! We will definitely be back!!

Rooms were clean. Host was very responsive. The hot tub was spacious and had a massive tv on the patio wall that we could a show while enjoying the hot tub. Kitchen has all the seasonings, pans and pots to cook whatever you need

We had an amazing stay at Sweet Summer Cove! It was the perfect place for us with our dog. He absolutely loved hanging in the backyard while we swam. The space was very clean, comfortable and outfitted with all of the amenities we needed. We left refreshed and recharged. We hope to come back in the future and enjoy this beautiful home again.

This the second time I’ve stayed at Sweet Summer Cove. The first time my husband and I stayed there with another couple. This time it was a girls’ trip with 8 women. Everything about this house is wonderful from the cleanliness of the house to the amenities! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub and there is ample room for everyone to spread out, play games (love the shuffleboard in the living room), read, relax, kayak, ect. I highly recommend Sweet Summer Cove and will definitely return!

We were very happy with the kitchen facilities. Everything we needed was provided. It was great having more than one refrigerator for our group. Dishwasher did a great job. Bed linens were great to climb into after a long day in the sun. Check in is easy and the hosts replied right away to our questions. It’s a great place to stay.

Th property was well suited and nicely appointed for our 3 generation family ages 70 down to 9!The kitchen is super well stocked with top of the line (Hexclad) pots and pans and a duo brew Keurig coffee pot. Do note that our 83 year old struggled with the stairs and the property isn’t set up with grab handles in the bathrooms … which I honestly hadn’t thought of when booking!

We had a wonderful stay despite not being able to get in the lake. We were able to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub and lots of family game time! The home is beautiful and has everything you need. The hosts were excellent and kept us well informed of the flooding situation in the area. The home is on a large hill so flooding was not an issue. We can’t wait to return.

Everything at this home exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable furnishings with very well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the games supplied in the home, the pool, and the kayaks:) everything in excellent shape. I would stay there again and again. I’d recommend this home to anyone going to this area.

One of our best vacations ever!! There was so much to do at the house we never left except by boat. Everything we could have possibly needed was there and so so much more!! We had a great time spending the week with our family. Great family friendly home with a lot of activities for everyone to enjoy. Close to the lake, golf course, hiking and other outdoor activities. Highly recommend for families looking to make lasting memories together.

This is our third trip to Kingsland and our second time staying here. It’s pet-friendly, and the hosts have gone above and beyond to think of every detail. Tons of games, water toys, and thoughtful specifics that make our trip easy. We are always relaxed when we stay here. We will definitely book again! The hosts go out of their way to ensure communication is easy for check-in, during our stay, and check-out. So thankful for this experience!

We loved our stay!! We had so much fun and made so many memories!! This place has everything you could want! The boys loved all the games in the garage. If you are bringing a boat, the boat launch is one of the best we have used. Loved the yard for our dogs! Truly, can’t say enough good things about this wonderful property!

My college friends reunited for a brief stay at this home. There were ten of us in total, and we had a blast! There were fantastic amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time at the pool and hot tub, which were clean and comfortable. It was also nice having the cove in the backyard - a little quieter than the lake, but still close enough to kayak to! I think this house would be perfect for a family gathering, too.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house is very nice and has everything you need to have a great time! There are plenty of entertainment options with the cove, pool, fire pit, games, cooking options, and plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed the peaceful area and saw deer on all of our walks. We also brought our dog and he enjoyed exploring the nicely manicured yard. This is a great place to sit back and relax or enjoy all of the entertainment options this home has to offer!

We needed a few days of R and R. We decided on this place because it had great reviews. The kids enjoyed the gameroom and pool. We rented a boat for the day and enjoyed the lake and docking up to the side of the house to take a break. We hope to be back soon for another weekend.

The location, house and host were amazing! Can’t wait to go back! We swam, went kayaking, relaxed in the hot tub and on the patio a lot! The fishing was amazing as well, especially mid-mornings. There were only three of us but this place can easily accommodate a much larger group. Definitely planning to take more family back. We booked 4 nights and after getting there added a 5th night and they graciously let us. We were there during the week and it was so quiet. Highly recommend!

This property is beautiful, comfortable, and stocked with all the activities you need for a fun getaway. We used the pool, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boat, outdoor tv/speakers, fishing rods, corn hole and grill. We could have continued with shuffle board, air hockey, fire pit, paddle boards…you get the idea. Each bedroom has a connected bathroom, beds and linens are super comfy. Lots of dining space and lounging space, you can’t go wrong. And, lastly, no laundry lists of tasks to do before you leave. Money well spent for what you get to enjoy!

Beautiful large house in a perfect location - overlooking the canal out to the lake. Inside and out were set up very nicely and the house was extremely well equipped, beds were very comfortable, etc. Communications with the owners were excellent too.We'll definitely come back.

Decided to combine Valentine’s and a birthday which could include the family. The heated pool was perfect during the day. It did cool off rather quickly at night. All rooms had their own bathroom and their own tv… which is ideal. The boys played video games and everyone had their own space. We tripped a breaker with a toaster and the owner responded immediately. No other issues. The house is great. The driveway is a bit steep but didn’t affect our stay. Will definitely book again. Very enjoyable weekend.

This was a great place to stay. Very open. I will definetly be back during the summer. The home has way more perks during the summer. Was a very relaxing stay. The garage game room was a very fun touch. Driveway is extremely steep though. Kinda scary if it was icy out. A great stay with an excellent location to be able to get around all the small towns with ease.

We had a lovely week here in Kingsland. The hosts were awesome—working with us when we wanted to change our reservation and add a day at the last minute. We were escaping the cold and although the weather did not completely cooperate we were not in 20 below as we would have been at home! The kitchen is really well stocked and the area very pleasant. We could walk out the front door turn right and walk to the undated entrance—then to the gated entrance and back to the front door. Really pretty walk of about four miles. Everything was great. The grandkids loved the pool. They fished alot and caught quite a few fish. They kayaked and had a good time. The house is very nice and it is a quiet little cove..

Celebrated my birthday with the wife and our two grown kids and their spouses. Amenities for every age...even us seniors. Place is quite nice and stocked with everyhing you need . Toys galore . We played the shuffleboard table for hours. Lots of room and well furnished. Host was amazing and attentive to our stay. Go here if you can. .

All the comforts of home!! Everything was wonderful, from the communications with the owner to the views, the hot tub, the game room, fire pit…. I was pleasantly surprised with all the spices, staples, and everything needed to cook our Thanksgiving feast! Our group age range was 25-65 and we all LOVED it. Hope to come back in the summer!

We had the most incredible experience with our daughter, son-in-law, three grandchildren, and my parents to celebrate our granddaughter's 9th Birthday and my 59th. All she wanted for her birthday was a fishing trip to the lake. Our hosts Ashley and Dan checked in on us frequently. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking great meals. Thank you immensely for helping us create cherished memories we will never forget. We highly recommend this incredible property!

This property was awesome. I arrived to find a greeting party of about 10 deer on the driveway, such a lovely sight. This is a very spacious house, clean and well equipped. Each bedroom had extremely comfortable bed with nice linens and each had dedicated bathroom which is hard to come by. The patio is where we spent the majority of our time. The pool and hot tub were clean and we had great fun in the water, there is also lots of seating for bigger groups. The fenced yard meant we never had to worry about our fur babies who enjoyed every minute of their stay and we weren't having to constantly check on them. (This is a huge plus while on vacation). There was also plenty to do near by, we enjoyed a local wine tasting but there will be no need to leave the property if you want to just chill out. Our host Dan was very amenable and answered any questions I had immediately. Sweet Summer Cove leaves nothing lacking. Thanks Dan.

Let me explain, the purpose for this trip was to take my pontoon out this season. Our lake near home is too low. Without too much detail about that, finding this beautiful home was a treasure. You will find this home to be large enough to accommodate 12-14 comfortably or simply a small family of 4, like mine. The home is kept immaculate as well as tastefully decorated. You will notice the great quality of bed linens, towels and throw pillows. Our four legged family members (2) were graciously welcomed and very comfortable. The kitchen was incredible! You will need nothing. Everything was thought of for your comfort, down to the simplest detail. Hexclad?! Are you serious? Only the finest cookware out there! Outside did not disappoint. We didn't get to grill, but nice to know it was available. We asked for the pool to be heated, and it was to the perfect temperature. There is a fire pit outside, with comfortable chairs and nicely stocked firewood. So nice for an evening fire to watch the stars. And the biggest reason for going, the boat. There is a private boat launch for the subdivision that is easily accessible. It was really nice to be able to just walk outside, down the steps and onto the boat. Communication was quick and responsive, even during the evening hours. We wished we could've stayed another night. This home is STELLAR! You will not be disappointed! They strive for a 5 star stay, I would give 10 if I could. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Would stay again. Fun family time with same comforts as home - smoke space, able to bring fur babies, plus water play and peaceful walks in the quiet, safe neighborhood. Love the giant washer and dryer. Owners are very communicative, attentive, mindful, and intentional about providing a comfortable home away from home.

What a fantastic place to spend time with friends. We loved the house and its location. It was so well appointed and we had everything we needed to cook and have a great time. It was perfect for 3 couples since everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. You could accommodate many more people by utilizing all the beds if needed. We loved that we could bring our two labs with us, too. We plan to stay here again!!!

Let your troubles melt away while you are here. We have stayed here twice now and it’s been great both times. They have everything you need and the host are terrific. We are already planning on coming back again! You will it regret staying here.

Our family enjoyed a few days of peace and relaxation together to end our summer before school begins. It was perfect. The home was fully stocked with quality supplies, comfortable beds and furniture. It was cozy, clean and beautiful. Everything exceeded our expectations. The last two days we transitioned to a mother and son weekend and the fun continued. Our group enjoyed the pool, kayaks, paddle boards, and activities offered. We enjoyed walking the beautiful hills and loved seeing deer and ostrich. The setup is perfect for gatherings of family and friends.

We loved every minute of our stay. The host gave clear instructions and was very easy to communicate with. They thought of everything - from trash bags to hand soap to games...even an air pump for all the pool floaties we brought! The property was clean and well kept. I've already recommended to other friends!
