Stayed May 4, 2022Beautiful place, very well decorated and furnished. The only issue was the single trundle bed not being very comfortable, but other than that the place is very welcoming.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025Such a wonderful place to stay. The condo was immaculate (kudos to the housekeeper). The entire place was well-stocked - everything you’d need to cook meals including spices and oils. Lots of towels, blankets, pillows, etc. We’ve never stayed in a place that offered so much. Chris, the host, was very easy to work with. We were able to ride bikes to the State Park and down the main road (30E) to other locations. Our dog had plenty of room in the house and outside offered lots of green space and areas to walk. Since the beach was truly only 2 minutes away our morning walks were always on the gorgeous beach. Every night offered a beautiful sunset.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024The owner is very quick to respond and instructions for the checkin and stay were clear, concise and spot on. The unit is clean, and very cozy. It has everything you will need for your stay and everything works. It is right by the second swimming pool and tennis/Pickleball courts. It is also a very short walk to the beach. And as everything else in Barrier Dunes, it is also a short walk to the clubhouse and the main pool. The beauty of the Cape is it’s peaceful easygoing pace. No big crowds, And if you want even more seclusion there is St. Joseph Peninsula State Park that is just outside of Barrier Dunes and which provides trails and even more secluded beaches.

The smaller pool was just steps away from the property and worked well for my mother with mobility issues. This is our second time staying at Barrier Dunes and we love the low key, family atmosphere! Stayed May 22, 2024We really enjoyed our stay. Beach and pool are both close. When we arrived the upstairs AC was having issues. We called the owners and they had someone out to fix it within 30min. Would definitely recommend.
