Quiet, clean house near the water

We had a wonderful time and the home had so many amanitas. We all had a great time and there was something to do for everyone at the home from darts to walking and sight seeing or just relaxing on the patio. We had a wonderful visit and absolutely enjoyed the ability to relax and unwind at this spacious cottage that had more than enough room for everyone.

Great place for dogs, there is a pretty big fenced in yard. Great wifi for those that have to work. Very clean and they have just about every thing that you need.

Overall, we had a good stay. The owner was communicative upon check-in. Let us know how to easily reach out if needed.

Tony’s place is great. My husband, 2 daughters and I had a very nice stay. We used it as home base and went fishing one day and to the beach the next day. It has everything you need to cook and hang out and enjoy yourself. The house has a warm, familiar feel to it and we especially loved the way the kitchen is outfitted. If you have a dog bring it! We were visiting family for Thanksgiving that live just down the street from this adorable Goose Island house. It is decorated in a perfect beach theme so even though the weather was a bit chilly we still felt like we escaped the black Friday bustle in the city to enjoy the serenity of the sand and waves. The house is within walking distance of the bay and if you want to jog a little farther it's easy to get to the Big Tree and see the whooping cranes along the way, otherwise everything is just a few minutes away by car or cart. The cottage had everything we needed, even extra blankets for the chillier weather that blew in during our stay. The kids were happy to find some toys, bubble machines and a giant monkey, and we were welcomed with snacks. Tony was easy to contact and the check in and check out was the easiest we've ever had with renting vrbo's. The house is updated in some ways, but maintains it's old charm in quirky little ways that we love. The neighborhood is so quiet and you get a great view of the stars because there's no streetlights so it gets DARK at night. Tons of wildlife to see including gators. Rockport beach is just over the bridge and if you want to take the ferry you have easy access to Port A. There's not many places to stay on Goose Island so if you can snag this cotttage it's worth it!

What an amazing quiet community, free roaming deer everywhere. The water and boar ramp are lest then a 2-minute drive. The house is everything you need for a weekend or weeklong stay! Well-stocked with all the essentials. Purified drinking water in a 5-gallon dispenser, so no need to bring cases of bottled water.

The house was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and convenient to Rockport/Fulton. If you are looking for a place to take the family and enjoy Rockport Beach or a day of bay fishing, this is a great place to stay. We brought our 2 dogs and they enjoyed their stay as well. The backyard is quite large and the surrounding neighborhood is great for taking walks. Just be ready for the Deer.

Great home that was beautifully appointed, comfortable, well stocked, great location, immaculately clean, lots of parking (for truck and boat), and the owner is very good at communicating. Will definitely stay their again!
