Stayed Aug 17, 2024We had the most incredible stay at this charming home in Nantucket! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was the perfect place for a family vacation. The house is not only beautiful but also incredibly family-friendly. Our kids absolutely loved the spacious yard, and we all enjoyed the cozy, well-appointed living spaces. The location was ideal, with easy access to the beach and local attractions, making it simple to explore the island without the hassle. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together, which was a wonderful way to spend quality time as a family. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Laura. She was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. From providing helpful tips about the area to making sure our arrival and departure were seamless, Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly vacation spot!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was a great spot for our family of 4 and our pooch. We have been to Nantucket many times but this was our first time in this area. So much for us to explore. Our oldest son loved the loft. Our younger son loved his room with an office and Coral loved the fenced in yard. We had everything we needed for nights in and enough beach chairs and towels for our days out on Coatue. The family room was an added bonus; movie nights and lots of puzzles. The outdoor shower was fantastic as well as the two grills. Laura was wonderful to work with. We hope to be back soon.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house is definitely one you can enjoy and it is as advertised. It has everything you could need, from cooking utensils to beach towels to beach chairs and coolers. The house was very clean and very comfortable; we felt at home right away.Great second floor deck catches every breeze, nice for a morning coffee or an evening drink. The yard is smaller than it might look in the pictures, but there is plenty of room to enjoy the swing set, basketball hoop and a game of bocce or corn hole. The house is about 2.5 miles from 'Sconset and its beautiful beach and 7 miles from Nantucket town. There are lots of bike paths, including a wide bike path from town to 'Sconset and it is a pleasant bike ride from the house to 'Sconset. However, unless you are comfortable doing lots of bike riding, I recommend a car for ease in getting around to enjoy the rest of the island.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at this great home in July 2012 with our daughter and 2 year old granddaughter. What a fantastic place to spend a week. The layout of the house is wonderful. The upstairs open great room with exposed beams, a loft that can used as a sleeping area, outside deck, and more was the focal place for us. The outside shower behind the house was great; we used it every day when returning from the beach (private and right off the lower deck adjacent to master bedroom). Quiet neighborhood. Everything was provided, labelled, clear instructions. We have rented many houses; this is one that we plan to return to.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We found this house to be very accomodating for our family of 5. In fact, it was bigger than we expected. Our three boys were able to find their own space without getting in each others way. We enjoyed playing in the private yard, breakfast on the deck, and quiet bbq dinners. The house is very well maintained, and had everything we needed, a nice home away from home! Everything is within easy reach, and Tom Nevers is a wonderful, quiet beach. It also helped that the landlord made the rental process a breeze. We look forward to returning.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house is PERFECT. Very comfortable, lots of space, quiet neighborhood. The dog run in the back yard was an added plus. The only drawback was the distance from the beach, but it was a quick walk to the bus.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We're renting this house for the 3rd time this summer. It has windows everywhere to let the sun and the breezes in, and is on a very quiet road a few minutes from everywhere. Tom Nevers beach is down the road, a virtually private beach great for swimming and bodysurfing. After construction last summer, this house has one of the most beautiful outdoor showers I've ever seen. A must for any Nantucket vacation house. The expansive kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd have in your kitchen at home. There is plenty of room for adults and kids to share (or be separate) which makes this our favorite rental so far. Much as we'd like to deny it, there is rain on Nantucket and a tiny house is fine for a sunny vacation, but a big house is always better in the long run. For a teen (or older), one of the most private spots is the third floor, a loft above the kitchen. Despite the lack of a 4th wall, our son claimed this as his space our first summer and refuses to let his little sister have it. For those who are approved to bring a well behaved dog, you'll appreciate the dog lead that keeps your dog from the road, but lets him roam the yard. The 2nd floor balcony off one of the 2 living rooms is great for a quiet read in the treetops or a lovely spot for mom and dad to have an evening glass of wine. Enjoy your stay!
